IPL 2018 : Player Retention Event | Mumbai 4th Jan

Recommended Posts

By retaining Sarfaraz Khan, RCB will be spending just 3 crores INR instead of 7 crores. Good move keeping their auction purse in mind.

But, can thet get back Yuzvendra Chahal using RTM for a cheaper price?

I think same will be the case with krunal pandya

But Yuzi, rahul , bumrah, hardik will be very costly in auctions

as per this retaining 2 capped & 1 uncapped player will go in Price Option 2 no?

if that then they can save total of 9.5cr, which they can use in RTM for Chahal & Bumrah.

MI will retain one of Hardik / Bumrah for sure.

Don't think Sarfaraz will go at 3 Cr. in auction, so they could have got him in auction itself if required for cheaper.

yes 3 capped players = 33cr

P1 - 15

P2 - 11

P3 - 7

2 capped players = 21cr + 1 uncapped player = 3cr = 24cr

P1 - 12.5

P2 - 8.5

P3 (uncapped) - 3cr

33-24 = 9cr they an save this much from option 2 :woot::woot::woot:

Dd should retail morris and pant. Both do double duty as allrounder and wkt batsman.

Iyer should be rtm ...no way he is going for 15 cr.

However, if any of those players are paid more than those amounts, the actual amount paid will be deducted from the salary cap. And if the franchise negotiates with the player to pay a lower amount, it is the amount specified by the IPL that will be deducted from the salary cap.
