I would like to say. Nothing gives me greater joy than India winning abroad. Having said that, for last 6 years we have seen pyjamafication of the game in India. Our aspirations seems to individual records, some victories at home, IPL and money. So, if India does well in SA, I will be happy. But if the honchos in our team get battered, I wouldn’t be too displeased. Too many yes men in Indian cricket. It is heading in wrong direction.

I would say that between 2000 and 2010, Indian team was aspirationally wanting to win abroad and be undisputed best team. Especially Ganguly and Dravid emphasised on this. Most of them came from generation of 90s when they were home bullies blown away abroad. You had independent commentators and ex players who had the balls to point out this glaring flaw in our cricketing structure. In fact, the institutes were born out of this thought process.

Great to see so many anti-India chamchas come out from their closet. Good spin being made since all away tours coming up, so supporting opposition when chances of India winning are at its lowest.:phehe: Good to get rid of such people.

Rahul ho ya na ho...Support India all the way... :isalute:

some are really low grade crappy posters man, changing loyalties for state regional issues.. pathetic.

Can never support any other team playing against India, cos Team India is bigger then individuals, but yea surely disappointed with selection....Rahane, DK, Jadhav, Axar has no business to be in tge side, we have better talent then this bunch...unfortunately politics, favoritism, regionalism plays a big role in Indian cricket.

PS: We're gonna lose anyway lol 4-1, 3-2.

India has been ridiculously poor against SA in SA in their bilateral ODI meetings  this millennium. Have won only 2 ODIs, that too in 2010-11 series.

Atleast in tests we have offered resistance and came quite close to a rare series victory in 2010.

Our LOI specialists have to be in top form to beat Saffers. Let the test series end, we'll get to know about the players who'd be further taking part in ODIs.

Pretty much this and I have called OPs bluff long time back. And its nothing to do with Rahul, we all felt Rahul's exclusion was a horrific selection and he should definitely be in the team. But just bcoz my state player wont be picked and I start supporting the opposition and also encourage others to do so by opening a thread in Indian forum is pathetic. This reminds me of few kolkata fans in 2006 when they openly supported SA team in eden gardens just bcoz Dada was ousted from the team. LOL

Win or lose...Rahul or no Rahul....North or South....India all the way man :isalute:

The crazy part is with all these passengers and upcoming spankings/whackings from Saffers ,  I still hope India would be able to chase a stiff target of 350+.:frown:

on South African pitches we are not chasing 350+ batting 2nd...our best bet is to put on a score and defend and hope South Africa implode...infact South African lower middle order in LOIs is pretty weak as we saw in the Champions trophy. Dekock,Amla,Devillers pretty much...Miller is 50-50 and the rest all are mediocre.

Despite their weaknesses , they are quite devastating at home. SA made a mockery of a target of 372 during Durban ODI vs Aus last year. Even someone like Phehlukwayo coming at no. 8 played with remarkable composure & ease.

Thankfully Rilee Rossouw is not there. Our team should have been in SA by now acclamatising but thanks to a meaningless bilateral our boys are presently busy digesting food from Virat's reception.

Touring teams all over the world are finding it difficult to win,  but this is no way how you prepare for a tour. Not giving an excuse, they might still lose even reaching a month before the first match. However the approach with which they are touring the place after 4 long years is appalling, only a subcontinental side can get away with such mindless scheduling.
