FischerTal Posted January 1, 2018 Share Posted January 1, 2018 (edited) two things are possible. either modi/doval planning something big and calling early elections or they are completely lost in their approach towards pakistan. pick your choice. for some reason i still believe in the former. the fact that so many soldiers have died lends credence to the belief that they want a situation in which country will bay for blood of our neighbors. however, with the lack of indian armed forces preparedness after the shambolic state that the Congress left it under in 2014, Modi has realized an open confrontation is not an option especially with China breathing down our neck on the eastern border. most likely, they are building deep assets in pakistan for the past 4 years who will come into use right around the time of the 2019 general elections. modi only responds when elections are near. don't expect him to do anything until then.
