3 tests, I believe we will have a great outing in the catching department, we will drop only 18 regulation catches i.e. 6 per test match. Kohli will have an outstanding series (compared to his usual standards) in the slips and will drop only 7 out of those 18. Ishant will bear the brunt of the misses and cement his spot as the UOAT (Unluckiest of All Time). Doosra aur teesra sawaal MCQ hai.

My prediction:

16-20

Mujrim: Kohli

Unlucky: Ishant

11-15

Shami will be the poor bowler.

If kohli fields in slips....he will drop most, if not dhawan will top.

11-15 and the winner will be the clown Dhawan. I can almost imagine him grinning after dropping sitters.

If thats the figure ur guessing, i assume u guys have lost hope of winning this series

Laaloo's reaction? oh I didn't start this thread, so maybe he won't abuse the thread starter.

Same thread by me, then? @Laaloo

On thread @Gollum - if we drop more than one 'simple/regulation' catch of any #1-#6 batsmen per innings (not including the tougher catches, just the simple ones) - SA will make us pay a big cost for it.

What?

Had very same, identical thread been started by me, by now you'd have talked out of your ass here.

Now get lost. It's gollum's thread, so move on.

So random. Are you feeling okay? You want some Pepto bismol?

Just like how Indians have made various batting strokeplay famous since time immemorial like Ranjit Singhji’s late cut to Sachin’s straight drive to Dravid’s on drive to Dhoni’s Helicopter shot, after this series we are going to have names associated with various types of “catch drop styles”.

see below

“aggressive drop”- dedicated to Virat Kohli...This is when you drop a catch but instead of sulking and feeling embarrassed, you try to mouth a few expletives and still come out looking macho instead of looking like a total tool(atleast from your personal perspective)

“Namma Namma Drop Drop”- the double “Drop”is not a typo...this is the kind of drop that happens when  you are already living on the edge and have the misfortune of dropping a catch and then end up getting dropped out of the team.Made famous by KL Rahul.

“lazy elegance drop”- This is the sexiest looking drop on the list.... a tribute to  Rohit’s world famous batting and criminally underrated off spin bowling.

“The hair drop”- dedicated to Ishant Sharma...when you drop a catch because your hair falls in your eyes but instead of abusing you, the viewers most of them suffering with receding hairlines or male  pattern baldness admire and wish they could exchange a million drops for luscious hair like that.

“The thigh high drop”- when you drop any ball that is not dangling between your thighs, which you usually tend to slap whenever you manage to somehow catch a relatively easy one. Also known locally as  “Dhawan pa da dilly silly chod”

“The ummah ka chumma drop”- When you drop a catch and internet trolls from a certain community call it anti-religious to drop a catch or say that you dropped it as a result of not following the tenets. This is the only  time you are justified to support the culprit who dropped the catch...paid for by the tolerant society as a support to Md.Shami

“Espn’s 30:30 drop”- when you drop a catch and the batsmen cashes in makes a big score and you wonder no matter how lucky you feel or unlucky you get ,how come you can never get past 30 no matter what...dedicated to perennial 30’s man Dinesh Karthik.

“The Green Track bully drop”- You look like a million bucks with the bat on tough surfaces but  you look like an idiot in your primary role of catching even while wearing Keeping  gloves.dedicated to Pappu Patel

”The rain dance drop”- when your most reliable catcher drops a catch you know it is time to pray for rain to salvage the game..example-Wriddhiman Saha

“The Gavity Race drop”- when you drop a catch and there is a race between your belly and the ball to see what reaches the ground first-dedicated to R Ashwin.

“The cool drop”- when you look cool doing nothing while  leaving the catch to the guy standing next to you...based on MSD-the told story.

“the WTF is this sir drop”- when a guy who drops a catch in his only obvious strong suit which is fielding...dedicated to Sir Jadeja.
