I had my doubts but he has proved me wrong in this tour. No words to describe his bowling today, never been so enthralled and infuriated (drops) at the same time.

He is GOAT level in India. Just need to give an average performance in SA/ENG/AUS and he can claim his place in the pantheon of cricket.

I feel sad for Jadeja... he was so confident about playing all the matches in the overseas conditions 

now the world no.2 will sit out for the entire next year since we have no home tests.. .

Would have loved for him to get 5 wickets so he put a stamp on SA and silence the critics for a bit.

Great bowling. There was a small period between lunch and tea yesterday when he was bowling boundary balls every over. But after tea he became consistent. Today he was magnificent. Should have taken a fifer. 

We know he is a beast when it comes to  left handers. And he has added his around the wicket angle to beat the outside edge of right handers strategy which makes him effective against right handers too. 

People still say that the pitch was helpful hence he took wickets  The pitch had some turn before lunch but as the day progressed nothing was there. Should give credit where it is due

i felt he was quite average in this game. it was 60-70 for 4 pitch for him, not 110/4

If our fielders and keeper weren't such chewts Ashwin would have taken a 7fer today, hard for anyone to better a 7fer don't you think?

4 dropped catches and Jaddu missed one completely yesterday. Yeah right he was soooo average.

Debatable. Jadeja might have bowled economically for sure after lunch yesterday. But without much turn in the pitch and no other wicket taking options I don't think jadeja would have been this effective.

When you have rubbish captain rubbish fielders that is what you get. INtroduced him very late. 3 drops in a row of Ashwin. If your ace spinner at home to do be an ace spinner abroad as well you need to support as much as you can.

Yes but he still should have bowled better. He's not an average bowler ,he is a top spinner and he should perform like that ,sometimes he doesn't

He bowled very well. He just has to bowl over the wicket lot more than he does.
