maggot_brain
Haven't seen a thread discussing this yet...who is going to replace Mr 600 wickets? Piyush Chawla, Amit Mishra? Saw Chawla in the ODI series in England and he seemed alright but he's still a teenager. Never seen anything of Mishra. How good's this guy? At the moment Kumble looks irreplaceable to me. IndianRenegade
The funny thing is no one sees harbhajan as his replacement! or are you talking about Leg Spinners alone? Link to comment
The Outsider
Chawla is too young and inexperienced to be a serious threat at international level. I would give Amit Mishra a run before him. Mishra would also help his cause if he moved from Harayana to a stronger team so he can play in the elite division. Link to comment
Cricketics
and just before going and start picking youngsterz, we should also not ignore Murali Karthik, he should be given more chances... Link to comment

King Tendulkar
Chawla is the man. No doubts on this! Link to comment

Grim Reaper
When Kumble retires we are surely screwed. I haven't seen anyone yet that can be a true replacement. Hoepfully we'll be blessed with one soon because we sure as hell need it. Link to comment

You can expect to see a few more bouncy pitches to come up a la Mohali. In a way Kumble's retirement might change Indian bowling strategy completely. Link to comment
