Apparently, this government is doing the same trick as last with regards to disinvestment - making the LIC buy a big chunk. BC, LIC has become a behemoth. And since entire news media was sickular back then, thats all one heard/watched on tv. 2008 was just an event by 2009. Aam junta was made to believe that India can't do anything but tolerate because of nuclear umbrella. Even a defence analyst had the balls to describe India-Pak situation as "a riot with guns and tanks" - thats how effed up discourse had got.
