"BJP in danger of losing a critical support base"

As much as BJPs fringe idiots are a curse to BJP and can potentially cause BJP to lose a votebank or two- the electorate have not gotten over the corruption memories associated  with congress. Even Muslims know that congress brand of secularism is pathetically opportunistic and only concerned with securing them as a votebank. With yogi Adityanath at the helm in UP - BJPs chances remain very strong there - and it always remains the pivotal place for LS elections.

BJP will win easily in 2019, maybe not has comprehensively as 2014, but win none the less.

Do you really see people voting for rahul gandhi ?

Never say never....people voted for Sonia in 2004 when everyone thought who will vote for a foreigner.

Remember Same thing in Andhra in 2004 when CBN thought he had it in the bag and YSR won from nowhere.

Forget all that 2 years back what If someone told you Donald Trump will by the president of USA

Lalu won Bihar in 2015, so let's admit it people have short memories.

On topic, it's interesting, how Muslims continue to vote Congress despite fully knowing that their poverty, struggles are due to them and nothing will change under their leadership. So they have no expectations while this middle class have expectations from their government. I guess that's explains why BJP attracts aspirational people. And BJP have been providing improved business and market conditions for them.

The biggest problem of BJP is they are running out of allies , Shiv sena already declared they will fight it alone , TDP and Akali's are not happy with BJP , JDU is not trustworthy so they have to fight it alone in 2019

To be fair, BJP is trying to be the dominant player in states which is the right thing to do, and obviously regional parties won't be happy. But Shiv Sena is bitter, and plain jealous. Akalis are fine and most trustworty ally, while TDP is about posturing against potential BJP=YSR tieup.

They are overly dependent on Hindi belt

, First they should try to win in South. And East India rather than fighting with allies
