Bhuvaneshwar Kumar is twice the cricketer Pandya will ever be

The guy looks so assured in whatever he does bat or bowl...just doesn’t get all the hype like Pandya etc because doesn’t have  the hoo haa styles and “attitude”.

Goes about his cricket silently.

Similar to Saha and Dhoni, but that’s a debate for another day.

This is the type of cricketers we need....players adept in all departments...not “manufacturing” an allrounder.

Disagree, pandya is a future superstar, it takes a lot of time for a player to develop. Jaddu was made fun of early on in his career but the management persisted with him and he returned the favor by becoming no. 1 bowler in the world. The team management sees great potential in pandya so he will be given a long rope and I am pretty sure he will become a great cricketer in a few years.

Just like how batting is not Rohit Sharmas strong suite

Yeah let’s bring back the best middle order bat in the country Yuvraj and Dhoni can continue consolidating with 10(22).

There are other threads about Rohit Anyway so not going to catch anymore bait :)

What exactly do you consider “outbowling”

BHuvi's leaked runs, Pandya has restricted scoring to about 4 an over.   Batsmen's in-control percentage against both would also tell the story.  Pandya should have had a wicket if not for a Parthiv-level drop.   Anything else??

If you are going to be quick on the trigger with the criticism, then you should maintain the same reflexive attitude for a "good" performance, no?

Dude are you seriously comparing Pandya and Bhuvi the bowlers based on this game?

When someone does well you expect them to kick on, not regress.

Pandyas knock in the first test was quality but the follow up to that was not only a letdown but a disaster.

He is ok for odis though because at this stage he is bits and pieces at best.

why to compare an all rounder with a bowling all rounder

why to compare someone who has played good amount of Fc cricket to someone who played very less of it

why to compare in his 2 yr of international cricket to someone who is in 6th yr

Do u knw where pandya wud be after 6 yrs?

What is an “allrounder” every allrounder is either a batting or a bowling allrounder.

The one’s you can’t tell are called bits and pieces
