Vk1
Bhuvi is fast becoming a loser in this format. Less said about Pandya the better considering his off days and woeful recent batting. What if Bumrah gets injured. We can't hope that the wrist spinners will do magic on those flat pitches in England. I dont mind Umesh since he picks wickets. He's not mandatory though. Shami a big yes but not sure of his fitness. Who are the other choices. I can't think of many that we have given chances in the recent past. My choices would be to try Saini and khejroliya. For ODIs Saini looks good and ready for international cricket. Has both high pace and accuracy. Can bowl yorkers. Khejroliya is too raw as of today. Khaleel Ahmed looks impressive. Bowls at high pace and can bowl yorkers, bouncers, slower balls etc. Is picking loads of wickets in limited over domestic cricket. Is tall and left-handed. Thampi and Siraj can be tried against weaker teams. Avesh Khan needs to be groomed ... he is tall, bouncy, accurate. Nagarkoti maybe ready in 2 years. Mosher 1 Link to comment

rkt.india
Saini, Khaleel and Mavi. Mavi especially is someone who can bowl well with new ball and picks wickets. Nagarkoti needs to improve with white new ball. Khejroliya is got better and quicker in SMA trophy and now in VH trophy picking up Wickets. Link to comment

Ankit_sharma03
Kulwant Khaleel Thampi (needs a bit more time, soon he ll be there) Rajpoot ( intelligent bowler, who wont be dominating but still wud do the job) Nagarkotti (he can a very good LOI package) Mavi Siraj (with him also i feel he needs a bit of time before getting a chance) Avesh khan (His state side needs to play him regularly or else he wont get better) Nathu (i rated him very highly but his injury has put his case quite low for sometime) Saini (i wud like to see more of him with white ball so m a lil unsure about him) Link to comment

Quote Nathu (i rated him very highly but his injury has put his case quite low for sometime) Hasn't played anything in 10 months. Was his injury that serious ? He is a great talent but looks a bit too casual. Edited February 13, 2018 by express bowling Link to comment

Not sure about nathu injury, he was in NCA few mnths ago but not being selected in IPL and then the next domestic season being far away wnt help him get selected this year not even for India-A Link to comment
Pollack
ODIs: 1) Mavi (in a year or two) 2) Nathu (if his fitness permit) 3)Avesh 4)Siraj 5)Nagarkoti(in a year or two) 6) Khaleel So basically if you are looking for an immediate option for now then we have only Siraj. Avesh and khalee can be fast tracked too. Would like to wait atleast an year for both Mavi and Nagarkoti. Tests: N Saini Link to comment

Among u19, right it would be Mavi who swings at 140k. Porel will have to be at his quickest and not 125-130 as that pace won't work at international level. Link to comment

Not bad at all. Deserves more chances. Mosher 1 Link to comment

Don't you think Avesh should be fast tracked if he has good IPL.Lets start with t20s if not ODIs first. Because he ain't getting to play for his state side anyway for some reasons.? Link to comment
