velu
sehwag .. most of the times Sehwag will take the pressure off from sachin , and we all know sachin will do really well when he is not under any pressure flamy, Rightarmfast and Cricketics 2 1 Link to comment

For it ll be horses for courses type of theory, depending on opposition n situation But rohit sharma wud be the last in rank for me 1. Sehwag- Wil just play him for X-factor , rest i think he was an underachiever in ODi 2. Gambhir n dhawan were big match player . Gambhir also was one the best player against murali i hve seen 3. Ganguly - will never play him against aus, but was gun against some sides and then his bowling always added value 4. Rohit- only incase of patta and opposition lacking skilled bowlers. Dhawan will not convert his starts into big scores, but he quickly dispatches some boundaries while playing just a shade below Sehwag's SR and at the same time taking less than half the risk that Sehwag takes while doing his job... started liking his batting immensely since last year... really feel, if Sachin opened with Dhawan, he can set himself up without worrying about the RRR like @velu mentioned velu 1 Link to comment

Ajay jadeja - match fixer Pathan - brainless and Afridi range retard Pandya - Maggi 2.0 - 20 seconds maggi Azhar - match fixer Dravid - I sat through many 60(100) kind of innings during my school days and trust me it was painful... there isn't a better choice than Rohit Sharma... I would have atleast thought you were serious if you suggested Gambhir, Ganguly, Sehwag or Dhawan in the middle order instead of Rohit even Raina ... would be a decent choice than the ones you mentioned... :/ Edited February 15, 2018 by Temujin Khaghan Link to comment

Both were gun fielders m talking about irfan pathan who still played many good knocks Pandya - wait n watch Raina - yea oppostion all time 11 wud hve bowlers who will tarnish his career and so wud be the end of career like rohit sharma against opp gr8 bowlers Edited February 15, 2018 by Ankit_sharma03 Link to comment

kira
No opening combo can match the awesomeness of sachin-sehwag or even sachin-ganguly, sehwag underachieved a lot in odis and ganguly was a better odi player than sehwag but the sachin-sehwag combo edges sachin-ganguly imo just for the outright destruction of opposition at the top Rightarmfast, Ironhide and Nikhil_cric 1 2 Link to comment
