Buttler and Dhoni ...

Similar number of games, innings, not outs, totals runs, average but a SR difference of 40 !!!

Buttler is very good player.  Still a bit vulnerable to quality spin, but great temperament and he can possibly overcome that as well.

ABDV, Buttler, Glenn Maxwell.  These are the guys that the other top ODI teams can send out in the 33rd over after the top order has set a platform.   We simply cannot send a Rahane or a Dhoni.  Not winning the WC that way.

Damn, when middling players like Shoaib Malik, Mushifq Rahim and even Sarfraz Ahmed have better numbers than Dhoni, you know the sun is setting on his career.  :(

Check his numbers batting second during the same period. Will send you into another dimension of depression.

Hint: average is sub 40 and his strike rate is in the 70s.

With guys like velu, rasgulla, shunya etc what you see is what you get....the passive aggressive chmachas are the worst kind

who cares if Bangladesh is a lol worthy side or Butler can’t play spin...clearly on an individual front Rahim and Butler are doing their job much better.

If Butler has weakness against spin, he just played a majestic 100 with more than run a ball strike rate against an attack of Starc,Cummins and Hazelwood...not some stupid consoldating knock of 50(110)

Dhoni is done and is a burden on this team...deserves the 10000 runs and then it should be tata goodbye.....as simple as that.

stokes has been superb as one can clearly see. he is a gun bat in ODIs - could be selected in many teams just for his batting and fielding alone.
