Amir may be an avg bowler against other teams but always performs against us. He is the main reason why we lost the CT final and will continue to be a thorn in our flesh for few years now. Our openers need to find a way to play him if we want to win the 2019 WC game.

He is not the main reason. 90% of the times any team, even the great Australian team, would lose chasing 340 in a tournament final. It's our bowlers who were the culprits.

Add to that the decision to bowl first in a big Final that too against Pakistan

Well, before the game, even so called experts on this forum wanted India to chase in the final. I, for one, really hoped our captain and management weren't as dumb, but alas no. Though Kohli had never proved himself as captain in the IPL, I still had belief in his captaincy. But that completely changed at the toss and during Pakistan's innings. And now the final nail in the coffin with his selections on this tour by having Rohit in tests, Rahane in ODIs, Pandey in T20s. He is not biased or favors certain players but just outright incompetent with no vision.

Something happens to Amir when he plays against India, otherwise he is mediocre at his best. He has pace but lacks variations and that is where Bumrah outshines Amir. Bumrah has loads of variations, and he is a quick learner. Bumrah deserves that no. 1 spot. He has been very consistent for a good long time. Even in this ODI series, he has done very well to contain the batsmen at the top. Hope he continues this form for a long time at least till the 2019 World Cup, he will be very crucial for us.

All hail king bumrah :adore: the kohli of bowling is the best way to describe him, we should quickly find another bumrah just to ease the pressure on him rather then wasting time on craps like jaidev untct

We've already got one by the name of Mohammad Shami, who is averaging 25, but we're hell bent on sticking with a 38-average bowler.

True.

India has won chasing 340+ 3 times only, but somehow we think that we had a chance that too final.

Who thought pakistani players are cheats and fixers...oh wait everyone thought that, it is expected of phateecharstan :rotfl:

please dont come up with fixing all the time. If so there are Indian players too who fixed not only international but even league matches as well. I believe entire world knows that, so I dont want to mention their names here. :yousuck: Adding to that some umpires as well who scratched his head after giving out :giggle:
