CoverDrive
When you are are the wide slip and ball is coming at you are you are still thinking whether you are first or second slip or if it is keeper's catch Link to comment
rkt.india
its not the case. wide slip is not there all the. Kohli and Dhawan are poor catchers and they dropped most of their catches in regular slip position. When Rohit moved into that position, he took a few good catches there. Link to comment
bowl_out
It’s simply poor catching technique. They even dropped many catches that came directly at them. Link to comment
Trichromatic
All those theories apply only when there are some special cases of failures, like with low catches or high ones. But we have seen these guys are struggling to take simple ones too. There is no special reason, they are just poor catchers. Dhawan is still better in outfield. Kohli drops catches even at positions other than slips, although the frequency of drops at other positions isn't that high. beetle 1 Link to comment
