Tigers are huge. Tigers are normally bigger and stronger than lions. Bangal tiger is massive.

Actually there are dedicated forums endlessly debating on Tiger vs Lion or Tiger vs Grizzly etc etc from Roman era to news they show anything and everything as evidence

Its obscene. But some basic facts are tigers have bigger jaws canines more bite force bigger neck paws claws and stronger more muscular fore and hind legs. They can stand up on two hind legs and use two paws to swipe. They jump higher and longer and are faster. Bengals and siberians are around 50 to 80 kilos heavier. Tigers will not show fight they will defend prey or water holes or mates, since lions live in a pride tigers wont prey on them or attack them unless given no choise to escape.

When lion reintroduction in MP was studied tigers preying on asiatic lions was seriously considered. Lions are taller on all fours and have mane and the males only live to fight this has lead to disproportionate image in culture but tigers are physically different level animals lions will be safe around tigress and smaller subspecies the two top species prime males will kill lions quickly if there is no option for safe escape for themselves.but if there is safe exit for themselves and lions are retreating you will see similar behavior from tigers as in this video self preservation..tigers are hardcore predators that way.

Thats not a croc thats a cayman. There is documentary evidence of Bengals killing and preying on indian crocodile ( biggest croc specimen ever in world is from that species incidentally). Jaguars are like mini tigers both them are know to swim in rivers ponds with caymans and crocodiles respectively and snatch preys callously..in casebof Jaguars they also actively hunt caymans..its riddiculous jaw power of jags pound for pound they are most powerful in bite force. Caymans are around 10 to 40 kilos..saltwater crocs that one tiger killed are around 1200 kilos. Its like a scooty and a truck.

Just saw that grizzly weighs 1200-1500 pounds. Would be interesting to see siberian tiger or bengal tiger vs Grizzly bear fight.

Siberians are known to prey on russian brown bears but a fully alert brown bear will probably kill the tiger if they both fight to death which is improbable.

tiger stalks and got better reflex and precise attack vs bears..

my guess is tiger will take down a bear if possible .. if it cant it will back off and wait for another day

check tiger vs tiger , bear vs bear videos .. tiger fights are more aggressive and fast .. bear vs bear fights are slow and lazy ..

Actually Tigers kill  bear cubs , sub adults or females or when bears are hibernating

Bears on other hand too kill tigers

Tigers can kill small bears. Bears can kill smaller tigers or if any one of them is wonded or old etc. Prime adults of either species will not risk injury or death and will avoid faceoff. Only wild animals known to fight are male lions. Tigers are known to be very reluctant to fight but can kill much larger animals alone. Bears do not have retractable claws and have much weaker jaw stength but largest bears are different league as they are twice as heavy as heaviest tigers and will have higher bone density in their hands they can potentially kill tigers if cornered.

True tigers prey so they will choose weak ones. A 300 to 350 kg tiger won't go up against a 600 to 800 kg Alaskan brown bear lol..only a polar bear can go up against that...but say a 400 kilo Eurasian brown bear or a 270 kilo Indian black bear or grizzly or smaller species of bears they will take down.
