Very sad but true: Shami may never play for India again

Multiple Indian news channels have shown interviews of his wife with a bundle of undeniable proof.

I think many members of team India may also know what Shami was upto.

Shami maybe India’s brightest pace prospect - but I feel we should set a high character benchmark for Team India - we are not Pakistan.

His wife looks like an innocent sufferer  in all these matters and Shamis denial has been weak and suspect. He looks almost certainly guilty.

As long as he is not in trouble with the law, he should be able to play.

His personal life should be a problem only if he is not following team discipline or if it is effecting his performance.

If vijay can be fine, he should be fine too.

even Shane warne had multiple affairs while he was married and he was texting lewd sms to many unsuspecting females... once he asked a nurse to come out in the rain and kiss him or something more nasty? his wife got tired of his philandering behaviour and gave a divorce. later he was involved in more sex scandals, one of them recorded and sold to sun newspaper by a couple of brit girls. thanks to ipl and his old age, he is finally sated....

now how many times he was in trouble with CA?

exactly once.

why? because of his sex addiction and scandals and having affairs with other women?

no. because along with mark waugh he gave information of the pitch conditions to a bookie...

seriously... our guys need to calm down...

not like Pakistan?

have we asked to bring a bowler who sold his country for cheap in the open market like amir? NO

have we asked to bring a bowler who beat other teammates with a stump and injured them like Akhtar did? NO

have we asked to look away and not punish a ball tamperer like Imran Khan? NO

have we asked to look away and not punish a pitch tamperer like afridi? NO

have we asked to bring a bowler who has used performance inducing drugs like Asif? NO

he has illegal affairs... so what..?

other than the fact that he could be compromised in future, if he doesn't control little shami by bookies using honey traps...there is absolutely nothing disgraceful to him as a cricket player...

if he beat his wife, let him serve the sentence or pay the settlement and get a divorce and come back to cricket...

Why always take pakistan into your internal matters you troller :finger:. Poor Indians are moaning due to banning mediocre shami. There will be plenty of talented  seamers in pakistan who couldnt find a place in the side. Even this shami couldn't cement his place in the team so I dont know why Indians so worried about this bowler this much. Moreover Domestic violence is common issue in India :giggle:.

dude apart from your latest "grey list" status by the FATF, we are incredibly jealous of your high Test and ODI rankings, while we wallow at a lowly no.1 spot... sigh... what can one do ... but sing praises of Sachin Tendulkar - the one true god...

*slowly dies with genital warts and jealousy*....

This OP is a joke, wonder how young or old he is, he has not broken the law, yes its a moral n ethics issue but not related to sports, but overall a cricketer has to be committed n balanced to perform on the field, Shamis actions have reflected his decline in performance, but i dont know the whole story.

We dont have any jealous, you guys have jealous of our fast bowlers. Then why did you take pakistan cricketers as examples? Even I have seen you guys trolling about stats of great wasim akram. How is that fair?

His wife has said he used to be provided girls on tours. It is not allowed on tours. BCCI should investigate this. These honey traps have been used for match fixing in past. These cricketers should behave maturely. But most of them are under 30 and  25. Tgey don't realise the traps and things like this. The implications and the after  effects.

His wife can allege him to be an alien. All this has to be proved in the court.

What matters is BCCI did not renew contract. They did not wait for court to find whether this is truth or false. Court results take years. By the time court ruling comes if at all she opts for litigation  many matches can be fixed using honey traps on him during this time. If he has problems let him fight against BCCI in court. Why is he not doing so if he is genuine. ?

BCCI is under no obligation as he is not their permanent employee, rather he is a contract employee.

Affair is a personal issue and will not have an impact on his playing career. Its the allegation of domestic violence/harassment which is serious. If proved Shami can go to jail for that.
