This is the rhythm of AB de Villiers

Recommended Posts

ABD is a top performer, one of the best batsman of our generation. Leave aside the comparison with other batters, just marvel at his immense talent.

From 227/7 to 382 a.o, wonderful performance along with the tail.

Hope ABD continues to entertain us in tests for a few more years & put all these rumours of his retirement from longer format to rest.

This pitch isn’t as easy as people have been claiming. Other than ABD everyone else has struggled. Take away AB’s innings, and SA has a very low score, but further, they have a terrible run rate. Neither did Australia have the kind of run rate you would expect to see on a flat track.

Finally, the Aussies have not scored at all. Smith, #1 player got out as I was typing, having scored all of 36 runs for 2 outs on this supposed flat track. And Ngidi is making Khawaja look like a fool on every delivery for like 3 straight overs.

This pitch has no devils but is not easy to at on. Good line and length with some variation and patience will make the bowlers look really good. Australia’s poor performance showed their lack of variation in bowling and their lack of application when they weren’t on top.

Kohli can score as many  tons as possible but he cannot replicate the excitement that AB brings to the game with his strokes.

There's something very  unique about AB and his style of play.

Spoke like a true afridi fan who is easily dazzled by white skin and pink outfit

Reminded me of Tendulkar at his peak. While everyone else was struggling in the first test, he was rarely beaten .. just seems to have so much time while batting, as if he's quicksilver with bat in hand.

Clarke mian how is everything? Good to see you. Hope all is well.
