So you say they are in error when they show hostility towards India but are not in error when they show the same towards BD? Okay then..

Where did you get this nonsense from?  I think you have completely failed to understand my point about SL fans.  Maybe read again, a bit slowly, and try to understand.

Quote

Also a tight game like that of course you're gonna celebrate a bit wildly after you win

There's a difference between celebrating, and celebrating in a nasty way that is de-meaning to the opposition.  Its called class.   Nobody would have any problems if BD players celebrated without acting like entitled twats.   Their snek antics after the SL game, with Mahsud etc - utterly lacked class.

BD players behavior while celebrating was like this guy's.  And just like him, the end result was a lesson on Karma.

Afghans have way too much class to stoop to this level, I haven't seen their fans but their cricketers are by far very level headed and well behaved. Even Bermuda has more self respect/dignity despite being an associate side.

I donno how many AFG matches you have watched or followed, but that is far from true. Ask any irish cricket fan, they will tell you a different story all together about some of the Afgan players.

Well if you put it that way ...India has a lot more mainstream role models to make up for how a few rabid cricket fans behav. Now as far as cricketers go are you saying Indian team or players across the board behave the same way like the Bangladeshi cricketers?

The only famous Bangladeshi icons if you can call them that known to Subcontinent fans are their cricketers...the other one I know is Talisma Nasreen and we know what happened there....so there seems to be not a single redeeming quality from Bangladeshis across the board whatsoever that I am aware of.

Dare I say we even hear some sane Pakistanis from time to time but Bangladesh has literally become a different animal altogether.

Lol Bollywood actors  that’s what you can think of?...Well for starters CEOs of huge corporations and historical figures etc etc ....proof you are a boneheaded Bangladeshi Anyways

CEOs are not as famous as cricketers or actors. You keep saying it's ok for us to behave like that because we have good role models. So which role model makes it ok?

It doesn’t matter what your nationality is because your problem seems clinical retardedness

Did you even understand what I said?

A rabid online troll doesn’t reflect the way a society is for example I don’t think all Bangladeshis are numbskulls based on this conversation. however the Bangladeshi cricketers are the most obnoxious bunch case in point they managed to turn fans of an entire neutral country which

1.traditionally is anti-Indian based on political issues as well as some cricketing rivalry

2. A neutral country always supports the underdog which clearly wasn’t the case here Lol they absolutely had total disdain for Bangladeshi cricketers, I don’t think even Pakistani cricketers get such reception in India

Do the math....why are you preaching about Indian fans here anyways? The problem was some Bangladeshi idiot saying how he takes pride in everyone hating him

Hey man we have seen this too many times from pakistanis in the past, so we can see it from a light year away. You dont have to do this. Dont push it further be open and post your views without masking nationality.

Ceo's are regarded highly in india there are several global ceos who lead biggest organizations across..satya sundar indra the list is pretty big for Indians its unique for us. Not belittling BD but actors are mostly seen as muppets even in the most local vernacular media in India not role models some of them break political mainstream in certain states TN ..to lesser extent Andhra UP and Maharashtra but thats after substantial often lifelong philanthropy/ journalism and or public work.

Bullying is not a hallmark of a prosperous nation.

No one is bullying any nation here and India is not a prosperous nation, even then bullying is still not OK so it does not happen.  If your country cricketers and fans act like jerks they should not expect camaraderie with Indians or SL like shown recently.

Emerging nation? Lol what? They have been around a while now, they are no longer emerging. This statement would have had more validity around 2007-2011 but it's getting old at this point.

Also what do you mean by image? There is one thing about the Aussies, they love to give it back hate it when it's given back to them. Same is starting to happen for BD and its fans. Fans loves to give it to other nations, espacially to India but when its dished back at them, it's unfair. Remember that 2-1 loss at bd and out came the pics of Mustafiz with Dhoni's head and what not (poor mustafiz had nothing to do with this - silly fans set it all up). However, the snake dance was done by the players, SL fans gave it back to them and now they can't digest it. Moral of the story is, if you want to give it, then be prepared to get it back. Or else be timid and not much sh*t will be thrown at you, less feelings will be hurt.

Bangladesh also shouldn't show camaraderie to us because we are acting like jerks to them.

You sure have a very weird way of showing camaraderie with your photoshops of gross violence on Indian team members ..and tweets from your captain expressing happiness for Indian loss to a third team lol.

Brother, please read before posting. I said India is the emerging nation. Not in cricket, but in things that are actually important like our economy, global politics, etc. We are progressing everyday. But the mentality in this forum and in general cricket fans is still veery backwards and childish. Just look at this OTT celebration thread. Is it a right image for India? now you understand?

I live in Canada. During hokey season, fans gets as looney and uncivilized as any desi fans. What does cricket have to do with business?

It's not over the top when it's bloody funny a Photoshop showing a bd nagin being controlled by a snakecharmer (famous Indian caricature)  is funny take on the on field events where the snakecharmer dk controlled the bd game and won . A beheading or murder or shaving of one's head is profoundly crass ugly rude unfunny and at worst shows criminal intent. Over the top is what you guys do..anyways enough said.

The lesson that this joke of a cricket team learned from this series will haunt them for long time. This was a perfect Karma in every aspect. Lost the final but most importantly lost respect in cricket world. Shakib getting booed out by SL crowds tells the whole story.

Anyway hope BD will learn from this and behave better from next time. As far as we are concerned, lets leave it at that and move on. Bring on IPL and most important Eng tour :yay:

What’s so difficult to understand? While BD captain was urging team to walk out, BD players getting physical with SL players, post win entire team and staff behaving like kindergarten kids with that silly dance, our team even in tense situation remained cool, few celebration we saw were for the innings and not win, captain started by thanking the crowd over all behaved like any international side should.

All memes or whatever you saw is triggered by BD teams action. If SL had reached final irrespective or result we would have seen a couple of threads and that’s it. BD team has themselves to blame.

Some of the comments on the BD forum are outright classic. The latest poll is if Nepal is the best ODI team in Asia? The forum got a lot of visits after this final before which BD cricket did not exist much for us Indians. Lot of rona dhona there, I sense similarities between the Pak defense forums and BD cricket forums - living their own Djinn worlds

I have read this already, actually you are very late to this. Believe me, noone is more prouder of Rohit than myself. It was a wonderful gesture, and good for the Sri Lankans to enjoy for their independence celebration. Rohit is an asset to India. But for every 1 Rohit, there are 100 of people like some members here, who do nothing but blacken the image of Bharat. That is all im saying. Hope u learn.

Maybe you should start focusing on good things rather than whining about the intentions of this thread. But I totally understand your jealousy if you are some Bangladeshi. I don't think we will see class acts from Bangladesh players like it's demonstrated by Rohit.

Now you too have jumped on the bandwagon and calling me BDeshi. :facepalm:Try to be original year. Dont be like thewall, copy pasting tired jokes.

the BDeshi players are fine, just a tad emotional. But not malicious. i dont believe they break the glass on purpose. if it happened, it was surely accident. But many are labeling them criminals, that is not right.
Forget the fans, do you even agree that Indian players in general are better behaved than Bdeshi players? [emoji848]

I dont deny that some of BD players aren't obnoxious. Trust me, that mushfiqur guy gets on my nerves too. And SL had many reasons to cheer on India. I don't care what one Bd member says on their forum.

This is the most popular forum for Indian cricket. Now ask yourself, if it is appropriate to post the kind of rabid filth the members here are posting. Is that a good reflection of our fanbase?

Not only on this forum, it is true for indian social media army these days. If you disagree with their views or advise restraint, humility, graciousness etc, then you are a traitor or a Pakistani.

Didn't we already have a token Bangladeshi on this forum pretending to be Indian?  Was he banned?  Must be why this night "reader" is here to raise his ghaghra.

i wish we have more open Bangladeshis who dont pretend. They have some quite interesting views of the world, it would be fun debating them openly.  This thread opened with majority posters supporting BD saying they still did well and should not be laughed at, but now its degraded to counter trolling

Not all Bangladeshis are like that.  Just a few random sadela rasgullas here and there.

And yes, would love to see more Bangladeshis join the discussion here.  But admittedly, some of the posts on ICF to tend to get pretty hostile and that doesn't exactly create a welcoming atmosphere.

Maybe if you lot were more welcoming and open minded, then we can see some Bdeshi brothers here. Just look, I just joined and already the distrust has been so so magnified. Ask yourself, have you created a forum that allows for debate? Or have you created a forum dominated by filthy gutter mindset, where a sensible Indian man cannot even express his humble opinions

you are a special case. This is the customary welcome for your kind here, i meant the regular posters who dont hide their nationality.

i remember initiating into ICF i thought this has got to be the most prejudiced forum on the planet, but then it was actually nothing more than banter as i started posting frequently. But for a BD fellow it might look like there is hatred for them here, its on us to mellow down a little may be that will encourage open participation and debate from other side. Not everyone is cutout for what Ind-Pak guys do to each-other i guess
