1st Test (D/N), England tour of Australia and New Zealand at Auckland, Mar 22-26 2018

Recommended Posts

While the bowling was good, but what a poor display of batting. Haven't seen such crappy batting in test cricket for long time.

Batsmen with huge bat pad gaps, playing in crease for full length balls, going for a drive without convering the line when ball is swinging this much? What was going on there?

Why would they want to accommodate Indian viewers? Lol not everything is about India.

Because India Generate lots of trp, Many nations adjust their time so their viewership increases in India.

NZ is the only county whose matches Indians don't watch because of time and they are one of the first to play D/N test

No NZ, Australia and other countries don't adjust the time of play for India or any country test matches start here at 10 in the morning Australian time the test matches that are now D/N start at 12pm I think.

We don't adjust for any other country sorry to burst your bubble.

Every day Test match in England always starts at 11.00am....

I don't think the ECB has the ability to stop darkness setting in and thus move start times to suit India .

D/N matches are about drawing crowds. People can actually come in and watch some cricket after they get out of work. Or watch it in their TVs.

Otherwise 3/5 days are entirely played when people are working.

since Wagner's debut no bowler has taken more wickets in Tests off short balls than Wagner himself: Wagner - 39, Rabada - 24, Morkel - 21

If not for quota system, Neil Wagner would have played for South Africa... Scary bowling lineup of Rabada/Morkel/Abbott/Wagner..
