DHONI_FANN
Yes, clear cut case of ball tampering. Bancroft is in soup for sure. prinzo 1 Link to comment
sandeep
There is no need for a question mark in the thread title. I want to see if the ICC just accept Bancroft as the sacrificial Joey here, or do they punish the captain and the team, as they should. I expect the CA head to fly out to SA and make a backroom deal to save his team. Just like Brainfade. adi B, beetle, prinzo and 1 other 1 3 Link to comment
prinzo
Definitely, bancroft is really dumb to think he can get away with it. It clearly shows on TV an object that he tries to hide is used to Tamper with the ball. It is surely a team plan. So I blame the whole aussie team and the coach for making bancroft the fall guy. Sachinism
Standard procedures for Aussies. Sadly Pakistani's have earned the cheating reputation, while England and Australia act like they're the beacon of integrity. nevada, velu, Unstable Joe and 1 other 4 Link to comment

Great point. Pretty sure one player doesn't decide he's going to go ahead and do this. Others are definitely aware nevada and beetle 2 Link to comment
chewy
Definitely not Bancroft in his own, whole Aus team and management on this. Clear case of wholesome cheating would need to start questioning the reverse swing Starc been getting in last two matches velu, nevada, G_B_ and 1 other 1 3 Link to comment

Spot on. Just noticed how quick Smith was to jump in when the umpires were questioning Bancroft. It is a team plan and Bancroft is the sacrificial goat. sandeep, adi B, velu and 2 others 5 Link to comment
prinzo
Bancroft tried to use a magic trick called "sleight of hand" where you hide the object in between your fingers. Unfortunately for him he is no Haary Potter. Reverse swing is the aim. And to ball Tamper in this important part of the SA innings to bow SA out Link to comment

prinzo
Lol the Australian dressing room with Lehman looks very worried. Lehman must be cursing bancroft and saying how can he get caught. Bancroft even used a yellow object. Then shows the umpire a black cloth sandeep 1 Link to comment

kosingh
Lehman's comments. "Obviously, there are techniques used by both sides to get the ball reverse and that's just the way the game goes," Lehmann said after the Durban Test. "I have no problems with it, simple. You'd have to ask the umpires and ICC about that one [whether it is legal]. I don't mind the ball moving, I have no problems with it at all." sandeep
I can't believe the umpires have not changed the ball and penalized Australia yet. In spite of the Tea break. Cover up in progress??. Don't think they can do that in this day and age. addicted4444, kosingh, Unstable Joe and 1 other 4 Link to comment
