Sachinism
Excellent article from Sidharth Monga http://www.espncricinfo.com/story/_/id/23021555/do-broadcasters-do-ball-tampering Makes you wonder how much ball tampering has been going on which hasn't been called out or exposed. How many times as a favour has footage been deleted. Has a broadcaster ever blackmailed a player with the footage he has available? Along with the power wielded by broadcasters. Quote Home advantage is not restricted to pitches and conditions anymore. If it wants to be, the broadcaster can well and truly be the 12th man for the home team, and the ICC can do nothing about it. Would a broadcaster expose a Kohli for example? Knowing they've paid huge sums for the India matches and exposing him, could lead to a ban and drop in audience. beetle and Gollum 2 Link to comment
Trichromatic
Home broadcaster won't try anything like that after paying such huge amount for TV rights. It's no surprise that most of the ball tampering incidents are caught in away matches. putrevus and Gollum 2 1 Link to comment
nevada
Overly batsmen friendly pitches seem to be leaving bowling teams with no other choice. Bowling on flat roads for days without reward can destroy any bowler's morale. Batsmen pile up runs and records on easy pitches while bowlers struggle to break the duck in the wickets column. It is time to address this gross imbalance and bring parity back. Let the batsmen earn their runs, give bowlers a fair chance. Vilander 1 Link to comment
