Nothing else explains these ridiculous OTT statements by his team mates when it is clear as crystal to all of us that he is a huge liability to whichever team he represents. It is astounding, downright scary to think about the influence these sponsors and brands have on team selection and other cricket related matters. Remember how in 1998 FIFA WC finals, Fat Ronaldo was forced to take the field by Nike even though he was in no state to play because of some serious sickness....won't rule out something similar happening here, may be big cats are pulling the strings from behind because they wield too much power and these Kohlis and Shastris are helpless.
