An average of 38 odd in Tests, almost identical to Imran Khan's batting average. Enough said!

if average is the indicator , smith is the god now ..

sanga , kallis etc are even bigger gods than your god :p:

Don’t recall you calling people doggy. You are very frustrated and Butt hurt though. Good show, honesty is always best policy.

:phehe: Would never call u a doggy.. Thats an insult to real Doggies. Another pack has be delivered to your slums..keep using it

Gotta admire the way you stick up for your own kind. After all, who better to understand the sensitivities of real doggies than the archetypal doggy himself.

There's a certain thing called a respectable Test standard average, which Dhoni lacks. You might write an essay, yet it will remain that way.

Some random fan might consider Ajit Agarkar the 'God of Cricket'. So?

Sachin is a way better batsman and teckniquely correct.. No doubt abt that.. But sachin is a batsmen thats it..

Since we all know cricket is always played in minds.. So ability to sustain pressure and guiding other cricketrs with shrewd brain makes dhoni's contribution to Indian cricket immense..Who knows how many games he won for kohli just in the plotting and planning before and in the game.  On top of that he also performs wicket-keeping duties..

When u combine all those aspects, he trumps sachin as a batsmen.

Lol does anyone remember when this guy said he's not a blind dhoni fan :hysterical:

He trumps sachin as a batsman? :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:

Were you dropped on your head as a child or did you recently get lobotomized? :hysterical:

Test cricket is the real deal and in that format I doubt Dhoni trumps even Saha/Ashwin with the bat. How can he even be in the same sentence as Sachin as far as batsmanship is concerned? SRT is at worst our 2nd greatest test batsman of all time behind Sunny, there are at least 10 Indian test batsmen post 2000 who are way ahead of Dhoni.
