Gollum
This is worrying now, if he can't get his mojo back this county season I will be tempted to play Rahul/Vijay as openers and Dhawan at no 3. Edited April 21, 2018 by Gollum UrmiSinhaRay 1 Link to comment

Nah in spite of Vijay having such a poor series in SA, Che didn't outscore him. Vijay has pedigree, was top scorer in England last time (400+ runs) and 2nd top scorer in Aus (480 runs). Pujara has failed abroad every single time since that 2013 SA series. KLR has potential, Dhawan is in the form of his life and on flattish pitches can be a game changer. FGS even Ashwin and Bhuvi regularly outbat Che overseas, Ash even outbatted him last county season. UrmiSinhaRay 1 Link to comment

YCCC
He looked decent before the run out and got a terrible lb decision in the first innings. These early season conditions are challenging for anyone. Low scores all around the country. UrmiSinhaRay and zen 1 1 Link to comment

I know English pitches tough only during first two session of the match. But seems like his team mates are scoring runs as well. UrmiSinhaRay and LORD_analyst 1 1 Link to comment

You mention Ishant well our tail got important runs as well once the ball was older and there was less movement off the pitch and in the air. All of our top order struggled, although top order runs have been a problem for us for a while. UrmiSinhaRay 1 Link to comment

Austin 3:!6
Batting now in England in mid spring is not easy. We will be touring in proper summer and he will find it much easier then to bat. Link to comment
zen
Leave the guy alone. He is in Eng to meet his own goals, not to represent Ind or be scrutinized by fans .... Follow IPL! UrmiSinhaRay 1 Link to comment
fineleg
zen, he is not there to meet goals but as alternate next best option since IPL teams didnt pick him. Else he would be happy warming bench (in squad, since he may not be in first 11) in some IPL bench and earning bench money LORD_analyst and UrmiSinhaRay 1 1 Link to comment

Just because you play county doesn't guarantee you do well and the pay you get is very less. People have went county because they are not picked for IPL. No Indian cricketer currently playing in county has choose county over IPL. Vijay is in wrong side of 30's. Sometimes players have to be selfish for their family. Everything is not black and white.
