Stradlater
It wouldn't be exaggerating when one say that Indo Pak rivalry in cricket is amongst the greatest sporting rivalries in the world. The two nations had fought multiple wars and the hostilities between the both have been generally high after the Independence. Despite all these tensions, you would rarely see Indo Pak fans in UK getting in a brawl (btw I mention UK since it's the only place where both communities are in sizable numbers). Take for instance CT 2017, India suffered a massive defeat and fans were heartbroken and yet no reports of infighting among both sets of fans. Now compare that to football where people literally kill the rival set of fans. Even yesterday Liverpool and Roma fans got into a scuffle which resulted in several injuries. How is it that Indians and Pakistanis, one of the most ganwar and jahil people on this planet (Pakistanis more) manage to behave like gentlemen in the stadium despite all the negative off field news. Whats the secret behind it? Link to comment

Whats the secret behind it? Not true. In the 1999 WC match, some of the Pakistanis clashed with an Indian fan and broke his nose. That crowd was mostly Pakistani and an Indian fan got caught up with them. A sizeable portion of the UK Paksitani support comes from the Kashmiris and they have an axe to grind with India. A lot of them drink even the Pakistanis Link to comment

Khota
India Pakistan is not a rivalry. It is a grudge match. Rivalaries are between equals. They want to make it a rivalry to be important. Indias rival is Australia. Pakistan is not Indian rival, sergio04 and sandeep 1 1 Link to comment
