And who will get the previlage of loosing to CSK in another fixed playoff? Do you really think RR can win 5 out of 7. They will hardly win another 2-3 at the max. KKR surely has more chances than RR> RCB, MI and DD are probably done but cannot completely count them out.
zen
Of the 7 remaining games, MI plays two each against K11 and KKR, the two teams in the top 4 currently. Then it has 1 game each vs RCB, DD and RR. So theoretically, MI can bounce back as its wins vs K11 and KKR will take points away from those two teams. And it would have to win against the other three teams as well If it can pick up its game, MI has a chance of replacing either K11 or KKR in the top 4. MI has played out its games against SRH and CSK so it cannot directly impact those two teams Edited April 30, 2018 by zen
Ankit_sharma03
RR has to many players who are out of form KKR has to many match winners MI will do well but lack of exp have costed them pressure moments n it might happen again RCB again has only 1-2 match winners At this point ill say KKR n MI have a better chance, DD attack with plunkett has started looking more then decent n they have match winners in batting so wnt count them out

CSK is almost there in the playoffs with just 1-2 wins needed to feel secure. K11 can still loose its spot but I will think not. They will make it because Gayle has a point to prove with RCB and they still have two more matches between them. Fourth spot is up for grabs between KKR, RR and MI n may be DD. KXIP have only one more against RCB,not two. CSK KXIP and SRH are more or less through. KKR have the edge to be the 4th with RR having a good chance to challenge them(but are on bad form, which brings MI/RCB into the equation) DD are likely to lose tonight..so they are more or less out. Tommorow's match between MI and RCB will be the dead end for one of the teams. Winner of this match will need to beat RR and KKR (even if they lose one match against SRH CSK KXIP) sarcastic
adi B
Who said you've gotta win 8 of 14 ? This season csk,srh are almost done deal for the play offs ,queens too (still feel they'll lose a lot in the later stage) ,the 4th qualifier will be either one of kkr,mi or rr and looks like they'll finish with 6 to 7 wins at max

philcric
Practically, CSK, SRH and KXIP are through. MI, RCB and DD are out. KKR will easily pip RR and make it through. They are in better form as a team, have more IPL experience and match winners. So, it'll be CSK, SRH, KXIP and KKR in the playoffs, most likely in that order. rkt.india
there is also a possibility of some games being rained out. Delhi, Kolkata and Bangalore will see rains in the days coming. May 2 has rain prediction in Delhi. RR vs DD game might get affected. today, RCB vs MI might see the same. May is eden game and rain is a possibility in KKR vs CSk game.
