One fraud replaces another. Talk about culture change :two_thumbs_up:

Any reason you call him a fraud... Hardworking and I would say one of the few who achieved beyond his limited talent.  Probably those are the kind of guys more suited to coaching than the gifted geniuses like Greg Chappel

Long story but I’ll try keep it simple. Justin Langer is the coach of WA and the Scorchers, and in a bid to hold on to a couple of players (Namely Tye) he offered players generous state contracts to counterbalance lesser payments within the BBL salary cap. This is despite the fact that people like Tye don’t play Shield Cricket.

^ Thats a thin line... retaining players through inducements could be a mgmt decision too. The other video of him flicking bails is more incriminating. But who are we to say what cricket australia wants..

Nah it was his decision. It’s a unofficial fact here in Australia.

You can’t hold onto players that exceed your salary cap by giving them a contract for a tournament they don’t play. That’s against the rules; and this entire culture change fiasco is surrounding this ‘win at all costs, even if you’re breaking the rules’ sort of attitude. How are you going to change that sort of culture when the coach himself is someone who readily goes against the rules?

He didn't pay players salaries out of his own bank account, he didn't make up contracts and sign them . Of course it was decided and okayed by the board of WCA

also this watch at 34:55

He shakes his head multiple times after the umpire gives him out. He gives the impression to the commentary team that it was a bad decision but clearly edged it to slip. This guy is a joke. That flipping the bails incident, nicking to second slip and this. He is more of the same. Cheats. Cant wait for him to join Smith, Wanrer, and sandcroft.

Obviously he obviously wasn’t the only one that’s played a part, but he was the one that put the idea forward.
