I been watching this documentary of the story of India well made. Some the parts of the documentry could be conflicting.  This documentary shows some very interesting details about origin of languages, religion, rise and fall of empires, the power of Ideas.

Spoiler alert for those who haven't watched it:

Few interesting things:

I found was about kanishka king. He was a buddhist but led multiple conquests and his death seems to be mystery. He is not much mentioned in Indian history.

The language of Harrapa and Mahenjedaro is not deciphered yet.

The fall of buddhism and existence of Jainism much before. Chandra Gupta Maurya converted to Jainism.

The importance of Turkmenistan and Indian civilization and the Sanskrit language this seem to be little conflicting.

The Romans and Greeks trade caused the gold obsession for India.

If you're talking about the one aired in BBC, narrated by Michael Woods, yes it's a well made documentary. I would recommend it.

Yes that’s the one.It just feels like we are not taught the whole history of India in schools. They should make it more boarded than narrower and more detail.
