sensible-indian
Kings lost by 3 runs. Had the wide in the last over been called, Kings would hav needed 2 runs from 1 ball. Standards of these indian umpires are woeful. I hav seen this particular umpire make a lot of mistakes in the past. Edit: since some are misinterpreting this post, let me clarify... Kings xi may well hav lost it even with wide but in a crucial moment, such things can make a huge impact. Number
Nothing blatant. Axar moved before it was bowled. The ball passed under his bat as he missed the slog. Moreover from commentary feed Quote Close call for the umpire. Very wide yorker from McClenaghan which dips under Axar's slog-sweep, but because he had moved across the stumps a touch, the umpire decides to let it go Garuda, asterix, upriser7 and 3 others 1 3
Jamadagni
It depends. If the wide had been given, Mitch wouldn't gone easy with the last ball and KXIP might have need 4 or 5 off last ball and lost the game anyway. At the end of the day, Ashwin lost another match for his team with his dumb selections. Edited May 16, 2018 by Jamadagni

bowl_out
Didn't see the no-ball... But that last over ball to Axar was clearly wide. Here's the commentary from cricinfo. "McClenaghan to Patel, 1 bye, wide yorker outside off. Very wide. He swings across the line and misses. Ishan Kishan fumbles and they sneak a bye. That should have been a wide..." Shunya
This has been going on since 1st game. Its so normal for them, next year they are going to change the rules completely to accommodate all this. velu, Laaloo and Garuda 1 1
maniac
You can't take the boundary of the last ball in equation...all Mitch was focusing on was not to bowl a noball and just bowl a legal delivery even if it was hit for a 6. That ball would have meant 7 out of 2...apart from that one fluke 6 by Axar,no way he was going to get 7 of 2,maybe only an outside chance...it wasn't such a difference maker in the end lol. What is this whining? sarcastic

sensible-indian
Its not about whining. Its about being fair. Game may have played out differently but blatant wrong call is wrong call. Apparently, calling out on chewtiyapa is whining. Lol. The Dark Horse

Scar
Although I agree it was a wide but your assumption is flawed. They needed 8 of one, so even with the wide, the equation would have been 7 of one. maniac
