Rohit Sharma if he retires today( god forbid) will go down as one of the top 5 greatest LOI player to have played the game ever

Also the greatest captain to have never captained the side long term since Warne and Gilchrist

While overrated players get celebrated, this man goes about unassuming shattering records, may be forgotten but always put his head down and singlehandedly won big games for his country.

He is like modern day Karna....Duryodhana the bad guy gets all the hype Krishna became god and Pandavas won the war but Karna did his thing, followed Dharma and was a beastly warrior who doesn’t get enough due even though he was flawless :hatsoff:

What  a load of tripe this post is. We all know his ODI exploits in SA

Anytime there is some swing, he is all at sea

He will bring in his 3 double centuries or how he won IPL 4 times. His epic innings in Tri Series in Westindies in 2103 where he won cycle agarbatti award but will make excuses for his failures.

BTW that expression of the cheerleader was actually her frustration of her end of contract this season. On top of it, male gymnasts masquerading as cheerleaders going to next round on an extended contract...

Why pick and chose...his performances in CT 2013 was one of the reasons we did well.....amazingly negotiated the new ball throughout the tournament, was a unheralded MVP

WT20 finals was not his fault obviously.

That steyn thing is exaggerated....it was a tounge in cheek exchange between 2 greats of the game. Warne once said he was having nightmares about Sachin's batting etc etc...this has happened since time immemorial. The mutual respect these 2 have for each other's skills is what makes cricket such a lovely sport.

Well you pick failures in an odd final conveniently ignoring the fact that he singlehandedly won us WC QF 2015 and CT SF 2017.

Also he gave Aussies jitters when he was at the crease in semis...it almost became a get Ro out and switch off your TV screens

:hysterical: what happened to the MVP on the biggest stage the finals not trying to pick and chose was failing game after game in the middle order and then Dhoni saved his career by making him an opener.THE WC 2015 was a flop made it count against BD and went missing in the semi finals again.

ABD scored a 60 odd in the semis yes Steyn was poor but we are talking about Indian team as you are saying he is an ODI great will be in the top 5 maybe for you not for me.The likes of Virat ABD Root KW are way better than him.

So AB's pointless 60 is a stuff of legend but an actual match winning knock is "oh,it is just Bangladesh?" .....go back rewind and watch the game, can you imagine the humiliation had we lost that match? we were on the ropes.

Also Bangladesh these days in ODI's is a pretty good side...I rate them over Srilanka,Pak,WI,Zim and even Newzealand (outside their home)
