“He got quite emotional (when the team reached the final this time). He cares so much for Chennai; we all do. He has been amazing for CSK since 2008 and is one of the nicest guys around. So this time, we want to win the IPL for Dhoni,” the left-handed batsman was quoted as saying by CSK official website.

After all the fixings allegationd, betting stuff, dhoni being accused of lying to save meiyppan, Dhoni has looked desperate and lost cool several times this IPL in his desperation and even has looked determined too but tbh, even if he wins it, it won't change things.

Dhoni lying to save Meiyappan is not an accusation tbh. Its a fact.Fixing, betting can be called allegations due to lack of proof or rather lack of intention to gather proof since IPL is a huge money making machine.

It wont change what things? That rkt and ICF will not stop dissing him...lol

And why should being determined/desperate to win be considered any bad thing. He and his team has already overachieved by reaching finals.

We support our team in wins and losses. And with great MSD at helm, he has made sure that we dont have to join the bandwagon of other teams to be relevant. Try harder minnows and reach playoffs atleast next year to be considered part of big boys club.

I don't think the anger is due to the betting charges. Inspite of all the criticism, I don't think Dhoni would do anything to spoil the integrity of the game. It has more to do with people like DK, Pant giving him competition and the fact that he needed to prove himself at the big stage at his age. Also it's a chance to prove he's still a good captain.

I can already see CSK winning the cup tomorrow and @velu@Garuda@UnknownGenius carrying our Thala in their shoulders as victory march with @Laaloo peeking behind the curtains :agree:

My question is.. who else is behind that curtain other than his bangladeshi friend @speedheat and fake srh fan from Andhra like @maniac who supports srh because they don't have a team just like lolva
