Who out of those two teams are likely going to have a better test future? Afghanistan has a very good bowling lineup but batting is probably one of the worst out of the associate nations. On the other hand Ireland batting is pretty decent despite poaching by England. Bowling seems average

In tests, you need a reliable batting line up and afghanistan's batting is far from one. The Irish team has the potential to be competitive if they get to play regularly against the top 5-6

In fact, you need bowling to win tests, more than batting. Batsmen dont win you tests, bowlers do.

Ireland team is talented since they got more experience players who played more than 10 years. But, I can tell one thing, Afghanistan is highly improved team and disciplined team than Bangladesh.

ireland is more experienced than indian and australian teams.....playing 10's of yrs of counties .
