I think given that Afghanistan are a great story (and they do have talent) a lot of people tend to overlook some incredibly dumb comments coming out from their staff and players.

 

Its not just now, a lot of their past coaches seem to insist that their pacers were much faster than Indias.

This was in 2007 when India had just won the series in England on the back of some good fast bowling. 

 

I suspect given maybe the Afghan fans are not that visible on the net their statements tend to go unnoticed.
