Biryani is fitter than Maggi at least.

How can maggi keep clearing it but Biryani boy cant.

Maggi is a natural athlete.  Rayudu isn't.  He will be better than Rayudu even at this worst fitness.

I am not big fan of Biryani, but this shows how this YOYO Honey Singh Test is just BS. The guy who has been scoring massive amount of runs, and in great form had to lose spot due to some test Bewda and Kohli implemented. Are they preparing Indian Cricket team or Indian Bollywood XI.

Yoyo Can be a good parameter to select the team

After all , they are pro athletes and are expected to maintain top fitness.

But then, banking all their might into this fitness test might backfire

Especially when top sports experts don't really consider yo yo a good test for judging fitness.

I personally feel the purpose of this test in the very context we are discussing is to push Kohli's favourite friends into the team.
This test and overemphasis on "fitness" suits his agenda.
Kinda like that professor in your school/college who used to set extremely difficuly papers only because he and his pet students were brainy enough to solve all answers , regardless of the abilities of all the kids in the class.

That's why he had a fight with Kumble no.
Kumble prioritized Skills and current form over the arbitrary fitness level- and was coming in the way of Kohli's politics.

Well, regardless how much Kohli tries to revolutionize cricket, he neither has the honest talent spotting eye of Ganguly neither the ability to squeeze out performance from a player like Dhoni.
No Dhoni fanbot here but Dhoni can actually push and motivate a player to perform well unlike Kohli.

Also he doesn't have the PR acumen or diplomacy of Dhoni either.
.

I won't be surprised if he becomes an useless Socialite few years into his retirement.
With that shite personality, it is hard to remain relevant in an industry which right now has more celebs on their plate than the mediawales can handle.
He hasn't done anything significant - and doesn't look like the person who will going into active cricket administration either.

Selection dilemma on Rayudu replacement, Rohit set to take YoYo test

https://www.sportskeeda.com/cricket/selection-dilemma-on-rayudu-replacement-rohit-set-to-take-yoyo-test

Rohit had taken permission from the BCCI for his personal engagements (he is in Russia as a brand ambassador of a watch company). There's no rule that all tests have to be conducted on the same day. He will be appearing for the YoYo Test tomorrow, GM (cricket Operations) Saba Karim told PTI today.

There is a section in BCCI which feels that Ajinkya Rahane's limited overs case has not been handled well by the selectors and the current team management (skipper Virat Kohli and coach Ravi Shastri), a senior BCCI official said.

With MS Dhoni and Dinesh Karthik already in the squad, it will be interesting if a third wicket-keeper in Rishabh Pant gets a look in after a stupendous IPL.

If 100 percent fit, Kedar Jadhav is the unanimous choice but in case he can't make it, then doors might just open for veteran Suresh Raina or rookie Krunal Pandya.
