Arjun Tendulkar trains with Team India, gets tips from Shastri

Recommended Posts

Somewhere in YouTube he is branded as 150k bowler.Quite similarly i saw Avesh Khan was claimed as 150k bowler in YouTube.I had a query regarding the legitimacy  of the report, someone said he is not that quick as claimed but actually he is.So can rest my assumption on him being a 140+ bowler at least

yup you are right, every u19 can bowl in England to English national team and to Indian national team in the nets for sure.

yes, at least to Indian national team. If you reach the stadium where Indian team is practicing and a domestic cricketer affiliated to BCCI, even you can bowl to Indian team.  They need a lot of net bowlers and many unknown bowlers bowl in Indian nets and when someone impresses, we also find articles about them. here is one when 19 year old Diaz bowled to Tendulkar in the nets.

Here is one more story. he was from Delhi and there are plenty such stories.

Recently an U19 Karnataka left arm spinner bowled to Kohli in the nets and it made news, but people will not talk about them, but because he is Arjun TENDULKAR, people will take special interest with cynicism.

This kid is going to get a lot of abuse for the extra privelages and extra doors that open for him .

I wonder if this will help him in the long run. Does bowling to our national team or others in nets make him a better bowler or does this get him in the eyes of relevant people. Is it worth the questions that are raised about nepotism.

When you have the spot light on you...you have to shine more .

I hope he turns out to be a good player , at least as good as the player whose place he will be given in the team.

He will be in the Indian team whether he deserves or not .

The funny thing is, in this situation, he probably bowled in nets and Shahstri said a few words, like most people would to youngsters. And it's bloody Shahstri, not exactly world class coaching material.

That's reported as Arjun getting coaching from India's national coach.

Which will be received as nepotism in play as Sachin gets Arjun access to the world's best coach to progress his career ahead of others.
