Which is worse sachin's son bowling to international stars in nets  OR  mohit sharma bowling in wc , R P singh bowling in 2011 test series ,Raina getting chance ahead of Rahane in test or Jadeja playing and screwing india for 10 years international t20.

Well if you care to read the usernames of those who are relentlessly whining as usual in this thread, you will get your answer :winky:

one think i notice here is how there is acceptance for favors being made at the behest of an established international player for his son, this is symptomatic of Indian society - not truly merit based but sifarishi.

plz also  comment on favors for india cements -dhoni from srini , who vetoed to remove captaincy after 2 back-to-back whitewashes........don't just cry out by setting ur agenda - accept the absolute truth.

also plz bring out favors for raina playing test matches in england under lord dhoni ....idiot.

if Dhoni received favors from srini unfairly costing some other deserving player that is nepotism too. its simple really.

and stop talking about crying out agenda etc, i am making very clear valid points - stop being emotional about this.

If your friends and families are getting advantage over other people to get an internship or any type of experience/exposure in your office then it is called nepotism. If Arjun got a chance to play with England boys in nets, thats clear nepotism. People dont get such exposure even after working their ass off for life in our crazy competitive country. Though whatever he does after getting selected will be his own, but right now he is clearly at advantageous position thanks to being a Tendulkar.

How it is nepotism? Is SRT an ECB CEO or he holds some position of power in ECB or in the counties? A father doing for son does not make it nepotism. He has money can provide him the best facility. He spends his summers in England.  How does it make it nepotism?  Nepotism was if he was a selector and had selector his son for the team.

Bowling in nets to international players is not equivalent to open seminars. Cmon, thats just too much now. Playing with national/international players has to be equal opportunity for all based on merit and not only for priveleged. Tendulkar can train him as much as he wants on private basis or hire as many coaches+trainers as he wants, but using his clout to get his son into bowling in nets to international player is clear case of partiality and nepotism.

By your logic, you will also support all cricketers doing this and we will have teams full of sons&daughters of past cricketers. Maybe everyone else should slowly forget about getting opportunities because every academies, clubs, state teams will be occupied with grooming sons&Daughters of past players.

Abey any domestic bowler can bowl to Indian team in the nets. Whenever Indian team practices, they call several local bowlers for net practice. Arjun is not the only one who has bowled to Indian international players and they spend their summers in England where Arjun plays for English clubs, so, he is very much entitled to bowl even to England team in the nets.

hehe..so if its sachins friends its not nepotism..any exceptional resource made available at the behest of a familial contact is nepotism.

They spend their summers in England. They have a house there. Arjun there plays club cricket there in London. So, he is bowling there like any other net bowler. Just because he can afford to be there and has the facility, it does not become nepotism.

the problem is respondents will be unqualified to answer that question. But the poll should be is Sachin enabling Arjuns net sessions with international teams a questionable use of his position/power to get exceptional resources for his son, which other wise is not available for his contemporaries.

Sachin is his father. How it is nepotism? Father providing facilities to his son is not nepotism. At least get that first. He is no power of position.

yeah we know that part, being Entitled. The tile being 'Tendulkar'.

because he plays club cricket in England like and any club or Ranji bowler in India is.  Just Tendulkar can provide him facilities to play club cricket England, it does not become nepotism.

and just because Sachin can provide him the facility, it does not become nepotism because Sachin does not hold any position of power in England.
