SecondSlip
All other T20 openers such as Roy, Finch, Guptill, Munro, Kusal Perera etc. go hard at the ball in the first 6 overs and try their best to give their team a flyer. Whereas we have this so called “Hitman” who wastes the first 6 overs almost every game because he “can catch up” later on in the innings. This is a very negative mindset because most of the time, Rohit will not be able to catch up and make up for the wasted powerplay. So as a result, he ends his innings with a poor strike rate and Team India short of potential runs. UrmiSinhaRay, express bowling, beetle and 6 others 1 8 Link to comment
GolGappe
Selfish. This attitude bites India in the ass in tough chases. Nearly played out first over the game as maiden. That's 5% of the total balls available for the entire team Edited July 6, 2018 by GolGappe DHONI_FANN, Clarke, SecondSlip and 5 others 2 6 Link to comment

chewy
Rohit is a finished entity in T20s, even in IPL he is a liability for Mumbai Indians beetle, UrmiSinhaRay and SK_IH 1 2 Link to comment

SecondSlip
I think age is catching up with him. In the past, he could hit sixes to improve his strike rate and make up for the wasted powerplay. But now he’s getting old and his hitting ability and strength is not the same. He failed in the IPL as well this season. UrmiSinhaRay 1 Link to comment

Global.Baba
Looks unfit and washed up. Had a poor IPL as well. DK should play and we should make best use of him before he is back to his mediocre best. The Dark Horse, beetle, UrmiSinhaRay and 1 other 1 3 Link to comment
Popular Post Clarke
Now then, lets not jump the gun. He still has it in him to smash a couple more centuries against SL or WI in Indore or Rajkot. Vk1, chewy, SecondSlip and 12 others 1 13 1 Link to comment

rkt.india
His fitness is the reason for his trouble. His reflexes look so slow like slow motion. He won't play for long if he doesn't get fitter. adi B, beetle, UrmiSinhaRay and 1 other 1 3 Link to comment
SK_IH
He is a sort of player who have no room in T20 cricket,he is anyways lucky enough to open for ind in loi otherwise ye bas talent hi reh jata Also considering he was a failure in the IPL this year,he had no place in the side LORD_analyst and UrmiSinhaRay 1 1 Link to comment
SK_IH
Also Rohit,Virat and Dhoni in same lineup is a complete disaster IMO,all 3 have same approach with Virat being more proactive among the 3 UrmiSinhaRay, Lannister, LORD_analyst and 1 other 1 3 Link to comment
wanted_desi
It was already predicted, he is going to get exposed in England and Australia. He will not be opening for India in WC'19 give it or take. His fitness levels are on Yuvi level and he is lazy on top of that. UrmiSinhaRay 1 Link to comment
Laaloo
He's gained weight and looks out of shape. Needs to be dropped along with a few other hasbeens in the team. raki05, UrmiSinhaRay and beetle 1 2 Link to comment
Lannister
Rohit Sharma is another dud like MS Dhoni. Until and unless we don't get rid of Dhoni and his cronies, they will always remain a third grade team. Expect another thrashing at the hands of Pakistan in the next world cup. adi B, beetle, speedheat and 2 others 1 4 Link to comment
Zero_Unit
Much probably has to do with the tubby he carries around. When you stay unfit, it will surely bite you up your arse at one point or not. if you don't have a fit body, older you get, worst your gameplay will become. beetle 1 Link to comment

Imagine Australia dropping Finch based on IPL. Link to comment
