MechEng
I'd like to know from ICFers in UK how will the weather be there in August. Just watched the 2 T20 games, it did not look like England at all, it felt more like a Southern European country, so much sunlight! Also probably a wake up call that we need more pace than swing to try winning the tests! UrmiSinhaRay 1 Link to comment
Oldhere
July’s since 2014 have been like that with temperatures around 30. I watched 2014 lords on 1st and 3rd day and it was this sunny only after noon. MechEng 1 Link to comment
G_B_
see the heat in the uk is a sapping heat from 5am to 9pm.... there is not much moisture in the air so it feels much hotter. Pitches are going to be dry... UrmiSinhaRay and MechEng 1 1 Link to comment
LordPrabhzy
Its an anomaly this year, for the last 3/4 weeks it has been REALLY hot with hardly an rain! Its not like usual summers where June/ July has rain half the time. Where i am, I have not seen rainfall in the last 2/3 weeks.. which is a record. UrmiSinhaRay and MechEng 1 1 Link to comment
Forever Indian
It has been unusually hot for last 2-3 weeks, but August is still a long way off, so it may become typical cloudy UK weather by then. But there wouldn't be as much swing as previous tour, so Kohli can have a sigh of relief. Edited July 7, 2018 by Forever Indian MechEng 1 Link to comment

Also the best chance for Ashwin to pick bucket loads of wickets overseas. Forever Indian 1 Link to comment
YCCC
No idea. Word on the street (well from the met office anyway) is cooling down after tomorrow then a gradual decent into typical English weather. Cooler with intermittent rain and sun for the rest of July. No idea about August yet MechEng 1 Link to comment
