Well we can only judge whether Kohli is clueless or not if Dhoni not available in some LOI series...

 

Maybe at that time Rohit will come to rescue...

 

It’s a know fact and commentators have also confirmed, Dhoni is mainly in charge on the field.

 

I won’t mind Dhoni being in charge on field as long as Kohli is captaining in LOIs... He took five catches and a runout. Advised every bowler throughout during their overs... If India managed to pull back England batsmen from scoring, Dhoni had a significant contribution... you can hate him as much you like but can’t deny his contributions...

 

Dhoni maybe excels being manipulator “behind the scenes”... and that’s what is happening currently and I don’t mind as long as this arrangement is working...

 

I still don’t like him pumping his own set of players... But then Kohli also gets his own set of players selected...

This year he had Chahal , Kulwant Khejroliya , Aniket Chowdry , Umesh Yadav , Tim Southee , Chris Woakes , Grandhomme , Moen Ali at his disposal , lot better than most of IPL teams . Have a  look at RR , CSK , Kings11 etc who neither had great bowling or batting .

Do u have any doubts he was a good LOI captain???

It matters because people like are constantly comparing him to Dhoni and talking as if Kohli is bad captain.Kohli is doing just fine in all formats.

Win-win situation for both.

- Dhoni is not the best option at this time, he gets to stay in the team. He was really pathetic in last 2 years. 

- Kohli is pathetic captain, but he gets to be called captain of the team, increasing his brand value.

  After almost 2 years at captaincy , i would prefer RAT to make decisions on his own , only at times he should go to MSD. 

  Tht's when we know he has picked up and evolving.  But what we see is, MSD takes all over esp. when spinners start and Virat not to be seen .

Kohli reached CT finals and has won in SA where dhoni never did win.I don't understand why people are complaining about Kohli's captaincy.Other than CT finals loss ( anybody can have a bad day) I don't see how Kohli has given any scope to complain.

We didnt Win CB series in 2007 with spinners

Even 2007 T20 WC , RP n irfan played big roles when it comes to bowling

In 2017 we had 2 off days , we lost against Lanka to 

 

The SA that dhoni faced n SA that Kohli faced were diff

 

Its not mostly about result , its about what kohli has done with hsi resources. The guy wasted a talent like Rahul on bench for a yr. HE played rohit over rahane in SA (nothing cud beat this foolishnes)

Dnt go far away he played manish pandey against Ireland both games, rahul karthik got 1-1 games

Their have been no backups created for bhuvi n bumrah

He has no plans for 6th bowling option

The guy doesnt give any player a long backing

 

For get comparison with dhoni , rohit in 2-3 series has looked a better n authortative captain then kohli in LOI. Kohli gadha kaptaan hai LOI ka.........n RCB is the best example. Give that same team to gambhir, rohit or dhoni......result wud be far different, player who played n failed under them has gone to other franchise n become successful n player who have come to them have gone down. 

 

People complain coz he is an absolute idiot, his list of foolishness is growing day by day. Every captain makes mistake......his list has already grown in huge number in 1-2 yrs only

Might be time for Dhoni to go, and Dhoni might be a poor test captain. But to say that he is worse than Virat as a ODI captain is outrageous.

Rahul is not Bradman that he cannot be dropped stop quibbling about Rahul, how did he look in two tests he played in SA , he averaged under 10.

 

Everyone looks good when opposition is weak, There is nothing to complain about Kohli's captaincy so far.

How is Virat worse captain than Dhoni?????? He has lost 10 matches out of 49 matches. How is it a bad record or where does it show that he has been a bad captain.Dhoni as a captain lost his plot when fast bowlers had to play major role , it did not matter what format he captained. When spinners had their say Dhoni was one of the best.

People tend to forgot how Dhoni's captaincy  cost India two world T20 titles. 2009 CT  India never even reached semis. what happened in 2015 world cup.Dhoni was a captain for long time.I

Kohli is passionate and has hunger to succeed and as a captain his batting has gone to higher levels. I don't understand the need to question his captaincy.

Give him time he will win major trophies too.

Rahul is the best Indian batting talent, only an idiot capatin will drop him without giving him proper run 

He was 1st dropped for dhawan who has been awfull overseas, that is not good for anyone confidence....what did dhawan do to take his place or rahane to take his place in ODI

 

Agar bradman bhi hota to kohli usko 3 match baad drop kr deta

1. poor selection 

2. lack of vision for future

3. doesnt give any player a long rope

4. Doesnt knw how to use part timers or do something out of the box which is needed in LOI

5. Not utilising his resources fully

6. Bringing Tried n tested failure back in reckoning 

7. As a captain he is poor n nervous in pressure games - thats why we lost CT final , thats why RCB never wins anything

8. Lack of trust among young players 

9. LAck of understanding of right player among formats

Rahane kept played Odi

Rohit n dhawan kept playing test ( rohit has played over rahane overses)

Manish pandey plays t20

Dhoni has more test victories then ganguly, yet ganguly was a better test captain

Teams numbers is mostly dependant on how good teams n opposition are ( currently most teams are really poor). Kohli got a very settled unit , had he gotten a team that was re building he wud have messed it up like he has messed up RCB completely

 

While judging captaincy, it shud be seen how well a captain use his resources and where does he take his team. Kohli has been a gr8 influence but saying he was a better LOI captain then dhoni is a joke. Kohli is a poor LOI captain.......no body here has a doubt. Rohit will out do him as LOI captain . 

Like dhoni had no idea how to handle test captaincy when ship was sinking, similary kohli has no idea in LOI ( luckily his ship hasnt sunk now but the xample is avl with RCB for yrs n yrs now )
