Where are these promising players ?

When the U19 season starts till the world cup, some players make a name for themselves & look like destined for Senior team, but still somewhere down the line they end up struglging in the domestic circuits. I'm curious to know about certain number of these players & where are they now ?

 

To start with, 

• Sarfraz Khan : After 2016 U19 world cup i was damn sure he would make it up top, but he is still not in the A squad. He looked class apart from the likes of rishabh / ishan kishan / ricky bhui / washington sundar & all of them are in the domestic teams & reached A level apart from Bhui but Sarfraz doesnt even feature regularly in the UP side.  I hope he get's his fitness right & works extremely harder to get in to the senior team, he looks like a really class player.
• Chama Milind : He was the spearhead of U19 attack in 2014 & even for his state side, budding into some sort of an all rounder, suddenly nowhere to be found. I cant even find his news on the internet as if he just vanished??
• Mayank Dagar : He was the 1st choice finger spinner for india in 2016 WC almost won the final match on his own,  but not even in the IPL playing squad. These days sees himself more as  a Model than a cricketer.

 

Hope they accomplish their feats in their career & come back strong..

 

Any other players come to mind ?

Sarfaraz had a knee injury and was out for almost a year due to that.  He missed whole of the last Ranji season, did play some SMA T20s, but was out of nick, got dropped and was not picked for VH trophy  he will come back for sure.  he is just a 20 year old. 

 

Chama Millind did not progress as expected, his bowling is messed up.

 

Dagar, he is a left arm spinner and they are by 100s in domestic cricket.  He was picked by Kings XI in IPL but did not play and is playing Ranji trophy for HP.

I'm more worried about nagarkoti, mavi and abhishek sharma. Hope they aren't lost.

Confident about shaw and gill, they will breakthrough with the sheer amount of talent.

nagarkoti, mavi and abhishek sharma have as much talent as these two.

Yeah but team management amd selectors don't seem to have eye for fast bowling talent. We will have bhuvi chahar kaul thakur in our wc squad.

And abhishek will be overlooked for axar Patel and krunal pandya.

what is understand from this thread, ICF and India cricket in general is the below.

 

Talent is very quantifiable and we can accurately refer to someone as most talented insinuating some one else to be not so.

 

We can also say that two people are equally talented. or one more talented than the other.

 

Talent is like a pebble..you can basically touch it and count multiple talent units.. and clearly say Rohit has 1537 or something score in talent and Raina has 57 Dhoni -32 etc..

Zol jhol me fans gaya after promising start to his FC career and got dropped and has not played an FC game in 4 years. Baba Aparajith a regular member of TN Ranji squad though his returns have been middling.  his twin brother indrajith has outperformed him.
