Yea but when Hardik came in and was going at a run a ball, Dhoni was starving Hardik of the strike as well as raising RRR. It’s a known fact that when you starve a good player of strike; it can lead to their dismissal. Dhoni was the final and decisive nail in our teams chase yesterday RAZPOR, Suhaan, UrmiSinhaRay and 3 others 1 5 Link to comment

They didn’t go for almost nothing, game was winnable when Dhoni came in. He finished off whatever chance we had. Even if you argue game wasn’t winnable, it’s a good future predictor (together with his recent history) of his competency to handle a similar winnable situation Jimmy Cliff and express bowling 2 Link to comment

Dhonis only intention yesterday was to stay not out. He was even tuk tuking after pandya got out. UrmiSinhaRay, mancalledsting, Gollum and 3 others 1 4 1 Link to comment

But after today's embarrassing flop show where the crowd were booing this awful display, together with English commies mocking the go slow approach, is there anyone left in support of Dhoni's place in the ODI side? Make no mistake, he embarrassed Indian cricket and the country today. When he retired from tests... He should have opted out of odi and T20 also.. May be after 6 months.. As he has been on a decline..his batting skills and even Raina 's skills are 50 percent down.. Both should retire now. mancalledsting 1 Link to comment
vishalvirsingh
I appreciate Naseer as he has been brave but True..clearly saying Dhoni was doing net practice....openly stating truth. Like him. mancalledsting, saik and Gollum 3 Link to comment

He routinely pulls off this stupid thing where he just shuts shop if he feels the going is too difficult. In an NRR situation it makes sense but what in a bilateral series it is deplorable and shows a defeatist mentality. I just think it is age and decline. He just doesn't have the ability. I thought he had turned a corner after IPL but he is back to what he has been doing the last 3 years. UrmiSinhaRay and RAZPOR 1 1 Link to comment
RAZPOR
Politics of Indian cricket will never allow us to become an ATG team like the Aussies of 2000s or Windies of the older days. Adi_91, mancalledsting and UrmiSinhaRay 2 1 Link to comment
Popular Post Captain
This was my post during the IPL when Dhoni fans were jizzing themselves after he belted Negi. The days of Dhoni destroying quality bowling attacks are long gone ( England's attack is extremely mediocre btw). His hand-eye coordination has detiorated. Any Dhoni fan that still thinks he can make a comeback to his old self needs to look at what happened to "Sehwag" once his hand-eye coordination detiorated. Batsmen like Dhoni and Sehwag i.e batsmen who's game is based on hand-eye coordination instead of proper technique are sitting ducks once age catches up. Dhoni won't ever win games for the team consistently unless he can reel back his age by 3-4 years. The sooner he realises this, the better it would be for hIm and his fans. Lannister
We need to have more overseas tours like this so that all the mediocre players will get exposed. They cannot hide behind like they do when playing in India. He got found out in the very first match itself where he had 20+ overs to bat with and needed something from him. diga, LORD_analyst, mancalledsting and 2 others 1 4 Link to comment
