The poem might seem slight in terms of size, but its effect is powerful. Ipl is not issue . It’s t20 by its very nature it’s more randomn and hard to really get any real judgements from . Frankly skippers are almost non factor in some of these matches

This year, it is not that he is not captaining well... 
The team composition is not good like last year. They don't have stabilizer like N Rana in between and the form of H Pandya is not helping either. Overall, the batting line-up (and form of batsmen) is very shaky this time and is the major factor for most of the losses of MI. 

 

There is no excuse for RCB to loose the last match vs CSK. They had it in the bag up until 15th over of CSK's chase.

Nobody knows how to waste the brand new ball better than Virat. He is giving 2 to 3 overs of power play overs to spinners. Making the pace bowlers bowl few overs in power play. Pacers shoudl be getting overs 1 to 6, that's when they can make use of the new ball much better in 20 over game. The reverse swing will be non-existence in T20 format. The attitude of lot of Indian captains is negative. In no ways i am saying spinners are useless. the point i am trying to make is give the spinners to bowl when all the pacers are done opening with new ball,atleast 2 overs each. Spinners should not be given the new ball .  They should be used for middle overs. I have been an advocate of having a specialist batsman as captain for various reasons (injuries more probable for bowlers/allrounders, bowlers need to be rested unlike specialist batsmen etc). However, seeing the way Virat is using spinners upfront, it would be better to have a pace bowling player as captain. At least he will use the right bowlers at the right time.

 

Washington Sundar, Badree, Chahal are the bowlers which were / are being used by Virat for RCB. Sundar in T20i as well. Surely this crap attitude towards pacers has to stop somewhere. The sooner the better. It's ridiculous spinners are bowling the first over rather than an pacer.Mind boggling.

 

In tests too we see Ashwin bowling the second over in some matches. What the hell is going on. Yes, we have two spinners who were leading the test bowling rankings for many months, however don't the pacers need to be given an opportunity with the new ball and some good slip fielders?
