Has this team already started disintegrating?

Recommended Posts

Things aren't looking under control, captain is getting frustrated and looking clueless, players are looking down and everything is clumsy and chaotic.

Bad signs for upcoming test series. Need to buckle up before it is too late to organize all pieces needed for winning.

LOI was suppose to be confidence booster and this is the time Indian team need someone to motivate them in the field.

Role of Shastri will be very crucial here. He can't contribute much, but this is essentially his department.

The reason I consider bilateral ODIs overseas far more challenging than ODI world tournaments.  Beating home team in a series is never easy.  While in world tournaments, we might not even play a single game against the home team. we  played one game against the home team in 2015 and that was the only game we lost in that WC.

A humiliation is coming up in tests as well. We are just not producing batsmen required to score runs everywhere.

When captain does not allows team to settle and shows such bias there is only one way team will go in longer period of time. His influence is very negative. The aggression etc is just fake. He does not likes competition at all, even from his own team mates like Rahul, Kuldeep.

But it's so easy to bluff all fans. Pick some fast bowlers, irrespective of their performance and everyone goes gaga. Nobody cares he give 3 overs out of powerplay in T20 to spinners and gives pacers a back seat. Nobody cares he has only one slip for pacer in England even in first two overs. It's so easy to brainwash fans and get brownie points.  Great batsman but not worth captaincy imo atleast. Fultoo dramebaaz and knows which strings to pull to keep fans happy.

2-1 in T20s

1-2 in ODIs

Thats decent result against a no.1 side in their home. Test series will be altogether a different beast though. This time everyone is used to the conditions and have had plenty of practice. So no excuses but to show up good.

It's even more impressive when you consider India's tactics

But has the selection been right from the start and bumrah would have been there this team has potential to beat this English side.

This ODI series loss is purely on Kohli. Select the friggin team right for once in overseas tours ffs. Raina in all three ODIs is preposterous, not to mention Dhoni..If we select the right team and then lose that’s a different story but this is getting too irritating and annoying.

Just to bowl 3-4 expensive overs. This is the worst 11 we have in long time. Not because there is scarcity of good player but because of brain * of kohli. What a looser he is, he needs to be relieved from captaincy with immediate effect.

3 matches we won out of 6, there was one thing in common.

A certain player didn't get a chance to bat.

May be team can get a clue from that what needs to be done to win matches.

Yea sure why not. Only if it was always so easy to beat good sides with only top 3 scoring.

What are you smoking dude...what a looser thinking.

tereko apna rona hai toh rota reh...

But the fact remains, before the tour started everyone knew this England LOI side would beat the s.hit out of us... They were clearly good but we did very well to win those 3 games whether you like it or not. Its not a piece of cake to beat this English side at their home.

Remember last time England toured India, we beat them comprehensively in Tests, Odis, T20s all of them...
