Re: Bondy on fire - NZ v Aus Chappell Hadlee series yoo hoo... what a terrific spell from bondy thus far. the man is back with a HUGE bang. moving it away from the lefties and then makes Mr cricket look completely like a chump with that outstanding delivery. and salil's man jaques was a real joke. WTF were they thinking when they selected him??? OTOH, pitch is doing a bit and a good toss to win by flemmo, who has copped major flak after the abject collapse against the Poms in the CBT.

Re: Bondy on fire - NZ v Aus Chappell Hadlee series Fantastic bowling from Bond...if the ICC curator can get some life back in to the W Indian pitches then he will be a real factor in the world cup.

Bondy strikes twice' date=' Haddin and Hodge both in the hut. I will be going to the game in a while unfortunately can't be off from work this early.[/quote'] could have never guessed that you lived in NZ. Anyways what do you think is the main reason for such poor crowds in NZ?

Hey Rahul- long time no see- how are ya doing ? I so totally agree about Bond. Its such a pity that this man probably won't take 300 wickets in any form of the game - such such traversity.

Re: Bondy on fire - NZ v Aus Chappell Hadlee series What roasting today of the Aussies? Brilliant just enjoyed it. I missed out the first 20 odd overs but going to the game in the end was well worth it. Aussies looked ragged, clueless and didn't know what hit them. Vincent called them pack of dogs and since then has been standing up and delivering. That was some hitting albeit not a chanceless one.

simple. all-blacks is the ONLY team crowds follow.
That's sad! Is cricket there a bit like hockey is in IND/PAK?
I don't know how hockey is in IND/PAK but cricket is followed by most in New Zealand. There are two dominating sports, Rugby in winter and cricket in summer. Wellington crowd usually appears thin as the Westpac Stadium has plenty of seats. Also it is hard to draw a Friday crowd. Auckland, Napier, Christchurch and the rest have lesser capacity hence looks full all the time. The test matches on weekends in Wellington is usually a sell out because the Basin Reserve can only accomadate about 10,000. The entire population of New Zealand is mere 3.5 - 4 million and that shows in the attendance of events such as this. Still the cricket will be on the first page of every daily tomorrow, people will be talking about this result for a while now and tonight's news will pretty much be about Black Caps.
