These commentators know more about Indian players than our own Indian commies. These are some amature bbc commies.

One of the commentators apparently has a cricket podcast, believe he works for BBC Asian Network. Defo seemed quite familiar with young Indian cricketers.

And we play that useless  pretender over DK in ODIs.

Life must be hard being DK..But then again,He has Deepika.:nervous:

DK's problem is his own concentration levels. It is in his own hand. But for guys like Pujara problems are out of their control.

KL Rahul also has issues with refocus after landmark. HE has to correct that. He is capable of scoring big hundreds. He should make use of his form.

Yep. Ability only takes one so far.

In his head he is rehearsing how he will do his dab celebrations so gets out either side of landmarks

I think Karthik will adapt better than others as he is unafraid to stand more than foot outside the crease. A tactic he employed against Anderson and Sidebottom. He successfully killed the swing before it started swinging with that strategy.

I think he will be a better opener than Dhawan or Rahul. But for him to open, we will need Pant to keep, and he can be good bat in middle order as well.

I too think Rahul shall be better in middle order in these conditions. Let Vijay and pujara waste the ball in first session and then middle order of Rahul, kohli,Rahane , Karthik(pant) can take it from there on.

DK looking like a billion bucks, why did we go with Saha - the specialist keeper - in SA again :whack3:

1. Looking like a billion bucks in a warm up match is no big deal.

2. Saha averages more with more 100s suggesting he at least isn't inferior with the bat. With gloves it is no contest.

3. Pertinent question to ask is why Karthik wasn't our 2nd keeper in SA. Pappu lost us the series in the 2nd test if you recall.

Saha is better keeper, but DK is leagues above Saha as a batsmen
