Why are Indian slips fielders so close to each other ?

you are not supposed to dive in fielding position...never saw VVS diving but held all his catches if it were in his zone. The fundamental problem is on theory they know slip catching but because they play so much circus cricket they never put it to practice. Tell me how many hrs of slip catching in practice or in test match have our stalwarts done compared to VVS, Dravid or even Ganguly. Even Sachin was such a safe slip fielder compared to our so called slip specialist today.

BCCI had hired a specialist slip coach in Bob Simpson in late 90s. Dravid himself admitted how it helped his slip catching.

Look at the slip cordon

Dhawan Kohli and Rahane

Surely they are chit chatting about how to get Rohit Sharma back into the team

I guess thats why they removed India's best slip fielder's Vijay and Ashwin away from cordon as those two have integrity and will have nothing to do with the favoritism

DK may disagree with you.
