Because Bhuvi has gone out of series bcos of aggravating same back.

so that does not mean he had not recovered.  you can get injured again if you have recovered.  back injuries are such for fast bowlers.  They keep recurring back again even if you think you have recovered, they recur back again.  Pat Cummins is out of cricket for back injury now and he is suffering these injuries since he was 18.  He recovers and comes back and the injury again recurs after sometime and it has happened multiple times.  You cannot do anything about recurring injuries.  You cannot stop playing cricket.  you play when you feel you are fit and just hope that injury does not recur.

Bumrah seems to be bowling with a short run-up in the nets. The management should not risk his recovery by hurrying him to play in the 2nd test

Bumrah is bowling fit, but his left thumb has not healed enough to play test matches. i dont think he is going to play any part in this series.  he is most probably out of the series.  It was as serious injury, thumb displacement and fracture, should take at least 6-8 wickets to heal fully and may be even more 10-12 weeks.

He got injured on June 27 and underwent a surgery on July 4.  So, it has been 35 days since his surgery, just 5 weeks.  I believe 4-6 weeks are minimum even for hairline fractures and his fracture was not hairline.

Bumrah should've been made to skip the series and replaced him with Siraj who is doing more or less the same job.

The team management has decided a system in which young players can't break in the team easily. They are working like governing department where there is procedure. The selection committee should follow the procedure.

Now Shardul is in the row so he would be selected regardless of the composition, pitch, opposition etc.

The team require a left arm pacer, but there is nobody who fits the criteria of the team management.

If someone gets injured, there is chance of Kaul getting selected than Siraj, because he is next in row after Shardul

It was pretty clear that he was rushed into the decider ODI. Before then he was said to to be out of ODI series.

Also what is Bumrah doing with the team without recovering from his fracture fully? What if he injured the healing hand again in nets or football practice? Just shows poor planning of team management with respect to injured players. They could have also selected another pacer in place of Bumrah for first 3 tests.
