Chance of rain is around 20 to 30 % through the day. We may have interruptions here and there but should get more than 60 over in I reckon. https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2643743 Link to comment

Forever Indian
From cricinfo: 10.05am "The early signs, about half an hour from toss, is that Pujara seems to be in for Shikhar Dhawan," says Nagraj from Lord's. He adds: "Fast bowlers: Ishant, Umesh, Pandya for sure. Kuldeep might just pip Shami." Naga updates from Lord's: "Shami looks to be in." So seems like Ashwin might be the sole spinner again. We'll find out shortly. Edited August 10, 2018 by Forever Indian Link to comment
SandeepMotta
Has to be a fitness thing if Shami doesnt play. UrmiSinhaRay 1 Link to comment
Nikhil_cric
Lol 2 spinners and Yadav out. OK. England doing the right thing and playing 4 quicks. Good to see Dhawan out though. That England team suddenly looks very strong in these conditions . Why does this happen only when we tour here? Edit: That was only ganguly's and swann's teams . My bad. Try googling BBC Test Match special, which is usually very good radio coverage. But not sure if regional restrictions may be there. UrmiSinhaRay 1 Link to comment

Ankit_sharma03
It looks like a one-spinner pitch, says Sanjay Manjrekar in the pitch report. But there might be more for them later. More than anything, the team management will be worried about the weather forecast becuase there is rain expected in London. All said and done, what do you do after winning the toss, having seen the pitch? Bat first. Link to comment
Ankit_sharma03
Says Nagraj, "Cheteshwar Pujara stood in the first slip alongside KL Rahul and Virat Kohli. It was a pretty strong sign that Pujara has replaced Shikhar Dhawan. That is one certain change for India on another overcast day. As for the bowling line-up, Ishant Sharma, Mohammed Shami and Hardik Pandya marked their line-ups leaving the question whether the Indian think tank would consider playing a second spinner in Kuldeep Yadav ahead of Umesh Yadav. Both Kuldeep and Umesh bowled in the nets." Link to comment
