Just 4 bowlers for second Test?

Recommended Posts

from the pov of the final analysis 4 or 5 doesnt really matter  ,ind bowlers have always struggled in eng,you have to bowl exceptionally well to get them out.
On the contrary we have best record in England of our overseas tours .

1. We have not altered the bowler count from the first test.  It is still 4 specialist bowlers and the batting all-rounder.

2. We have altered the composition of our bowling attack.  Just 2 specialist pacers against 3 last time.

3. With the ball expected to swing under cloud cover ... just 2 specialist pacers seem very very risky.

4. Pandya is not 3rd pacer material in England.  No way !

i believe if given responsibility, Pandya can turn into a fine bowler as well.  In tests, till he has always bowled with old ball.

He can with time.

But now is not the time to experiment with us down a test.

He may do well  or he may falter badly. It is a lottery in this test .

However, he can be developed after this series, for the long term.
