Does India needs a specialist batting Coach?

Given that Shastri is just a tour manager, don’t you thing most of the Indian batsmen need specialist batting coaching and strategising?

 

Especially when their batting is more suited to IPL & LOIs...

 

If BCCI takes Test cricket seriously else stop taking the Micky out and just schedule 3 Test series to save some embarrassing moments...

Yeah the original plan was since Kumble, Dravid and Zak will work together for overseas tour but then Kohli didn't like it

Dont think any batting coach can suddenly make changes to the batsmen who used to playing on flat pattas for a long time.

Like earlier, we need to get our main batsmen to play some county cricket to iron out their flaws.Too much LOI cricket on flat pattas will creep some bad habits in.If they couldnt get into county, they can get into the leagues below that just like Faiz Fazal did.

Ghanta motivation karta hain saale. Woh team mein hain shirf kaptaan ko chuski dene ke liye, aur raat mein daroo pee ke subah chewtiya video tweet karne ke liye. That way seems like he is one of world's most well paid whores??

Dude where were you when the whole coaching fiasco blew over.. It was supposed to be jumbo with Dravid and zak as consultants. Shastri uncle did not want consultants as he wanted full time coach who would do the grunt work for him and take blame when needed so that he can maintain his party engagements.

They have Bangar cement as batting coach.

Yep Bangar is the batting coach,B Arun bowling coach, some random guy as fielding coach and obviously Head Coach ,the Engine Shaz

1) Broad Anderson Woakes probably the most skillful trio for swing bowling

2) New Duke balls which are very helpful for swing bowlers

3) Too much off the pitch movement due to spicy lords wicket 

4) Rain induced moisture made it even more seamer friendly 

5) Very thick cloud cover all the time

 

I doubt any batting line up today had a chance to score 200 against these bolwers in this conditions on this track.

Bangar isn't the worst coach for them. He had that grit as a batsman and knew how to bat in these conditions but I am not sure any coach has the courage to tell these guys what's going wrong.
